  1. Costco has new Gen Wedges would be cool to see you test those and compare against other Wedges. Best Irons ever owned I bought last year Callaway Rogue ST OS Irons and Woods. Basically Cheater Clubs with the Distant and forgiveness for those of us who are +15 Handicap.

  2. I've just put a set of J Lindeburg/Vega mb in play James. They're prettier than those Mizuno blades 😊
I got them for a steal. 50 sets worldwide and around 2k. I paid under £800 custom fitted with my shafts, grips and specs. They are dreamy.

  3. You are a complete golf magpie! 😂 MP68’s are a great club. I have MP20’s recently hidden in the club cupboard recently replaced by i230’s

  4. Great looking blades James. My fav irons are the Adams XTD Forged irons. Lots of tec for a MB CB set with tungsten in the sole/back and cut through slot all in a small classy head. I wouldnt change them for prerty much anything.

  5. Favorite irons were a set of Mizuno MX 23's. Just felt so pleasurable to hit. I miss 3 irons and 4 irons, but wouldn't score as well as with hybrid and 7 wood.

  6. I bought a set of Mizuno Pro irons in 1984 and used them for 12 years until they were stolen from my car.

  7. James I play the ping i59’s. I don’t know if there right for me. I would love to see your review!

  8. I swop and buy that many clubs my mates all think I have a problem and need therapy

  9. Good price for those. My gorgeous blades are TM RAC TP MB’s. With the racing flags. 6.0 FCM rifle shafts.

  10. Lol I was just thinking the other day you have an unhealthy obsession with new equipment as do I, but I learned many years ago my handicap was never dropping despite having the latest and greatest. I learned it’s all marketing hype. I went back to my refurbished Ping Eye2’s. Weak lofts but if you choose the right ball they’re still awesome irons.

  11. I was playing these until just last year. Wasn’t playing enough and needed a bit more forgiveness. Beautiful irons as you’d expect from Mizuno.

  12. The best iron I ever owned was the MP 68. I still regret changing. Now I play JPX 919 forged, they are nice, but the those 68s were god sent. Thinking of changing to the MP120.

  13. Always wanted a set of Ping I3 Blades. Finally got some year or so ago. I need to play with them a few more rounds to see if the nostalgia was worth the purchase 😂

  14. I'm playing a set of 1978 Orlimar blades. The best looking blades EVER…and if Chris thinks the MP 68s have small heads then he needs to see these !

  15. My opinion with blades is they are the best game improvement clubs you can buy. If you really want to get better, these will let you know where you have hit on the face for sure ! Way more feel around the greens too.

  16. I’m about a 18 handicap but I absolutely despise offset. I’m not sure the distance I’d get out of these but I think I’d like them because I hit my long irons better than my shirt irons because of the lack of offset on them

  17. Purchasing golf clubs is one of the absolute greatest joys on this Earth. Sometimes you want to get a new club just to get a new club and there is nothing wrong with that, especially if you have the resources!

I have golf club purchasing fever, and I am deliriously enjoying all the symptoms!

  18. My favorite irons are from the early 90’s: Hogan Edge GS. They are forged, cavity back clubs that feel so nice!

  19. Still playing my Ben Hogan Apex 99 blades. In my opinion the most beautiful golf clubs ever produced. I have recently matched them with Apex edge 3-5 for those colder days up here in Ottawa. Great channel, keep hitting them straight!

  20. I own Mizuno MP33 blade irons, I was fitted before Christmas and I walked away with Titleist T300s with AMT red regular shafts, took them out a few times on the course, just didn’t work, the week after I took the Mizuno’s with stiff shafts and played really well…I’m not saying don’t get fitted, my point is James is talking sense, most pros would tell you your mad but if the hat fits and all that, thanks James 🙏🙏🙏⭐️⭐️⭐️

  21. I used to have a set of Cleveland CG1 blades a long while ago in the black pearl finish, which I'm gunna go out on a limb and say where even better looking than these mizunos

  22. I have a set of titleist 990. Used them 25 years ago. Very weak lofts, 3-02 . PW 50 degrees, 3 iron sharper than a butter. Cost me £60 use them about 3 times a year. Love them.

  23. Hej James! You learn quick what really good clubs are. Is it why you lost against your friend with the mp20s? Here a information about "standard" configuration of Mizuno : since the Mp20 (maybe 919 already) the length of a Mizuno 7 iron is 37 inch – the same as Titleist or all the other big brands. But before in the past the standard length was shorter, 36 75 (?)! The reason is simple, because people are in Asia are shorter grown than im Europe or the USA. The lie angle is also a little bit flat to Titleist standard. But a lie angle is easy changed with forged irons, the length not because a half inch longer makes two more numbers swing weight….
    Good luck with this beauties!

  24. I’m now playing some Adams Idea Tech irons that are similar to the Wilson LP hybrid irons, but my favorite set was my Ping G10. Just suited me well.

  25. I have Mizuno MP60's but have added MP58's as the 60's have a few rusty shafts. Choice of 14 clubs but 3 are too rusty for my liking. Love them, but my Wilson Staff Launchpads give me more confidence.

  26. I bought a set of these a couple years ago off a friend 3i – PW. They were his dad's and he sold them to me for $80. I break them out when I want to be frustrated with my ball striking. Normally play JPX919 HM Pros.

And they are in like-new condition with the original grips.

  27. I scratched an itch and bought a set of blades. At 18 handicap a few of my buddys thought I wouldn’t be able to play them. However, I always hit the ball out of the middle of my irons. Since using the MP-18s I now have my handicap has dropped to sub 10. The control and feel of the Mizuno irons is priceless. I found, using game improvement, hollow bodied irons, I was hitting longer distances (so am 1 club shorter with the blades) but the dispersion was way worse. I’d say give blades a go if you are curious. I bought my MP 18s for £210 and they are immaculate.

  28. Only joking on the 👎 ie MP5 s are better, ask any other Pro 🤣🤣🤣
Hope you and the family are all ok 💪💪💪👍👍👍🙂🙂🙂
