After watching this I was reminded of why I stopped watching these two senile old men. They are so incredibly disconnected with the reality of situations. Wilbon saying that stop crying because you all got paid! Huge difference between a couple million dollars and HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of dollars. People that have money are so disconnected with the reality of people that don’t.
Jay Monahan got what he wanted — and he used plenty of people over the past two years to receive a lifetime job.
Money vs. "Do the Right Thing!" is like Devil vs. Not, The Devil … Saudi gov't help fund Plane hitting Pentagon (Killing my colleagues), Plane demolishing World Trade Center (Killing one of my Family Members), Plane killing brave Americans who stood up to Terrorist Preventing them from hitting the White House. $600B Dollar War Chest means American Soccer, American/World Golf and other Sports will make the same Evil deals.
Jay Monahan and the PGA had no clue what they could be up to on the lawsuit … unfortunately in the end the court wanted the PGA (Jay Monahan) to open their books but Jay M. refused …. that decision was a catastrophic error a blunder of EPIC proportion …. as such the PGA and JM was Checkmate. Jay lied to the PGA players …. he told them "don't take the $ dont go to LIV …. in the end he did the exact opposite … Jay took the deal (only who knows how much $ he is going to get from this deal ) and sold the PGA….. talk about Hypocrisy that is Jay Monahan….

Wilbon needs to stop making the comparison to past merges of AFL-NFL and ABA-NBA. This is nothing like that. Those mergers were between US based/owner leagues. LIV is a front for the Saudi sovereign wealth fund. This "merger" represents a take over of a major US sport association by a foreign government. Not to mention the fairly dubious policies and practices of that nation.
Ultimately, I think this sell out by the PGA will end up to be a negative for them and the players. Money can not be the answer to every issue.
