Detroit has a lot of draft picks in the next two years. Depending how close they are on their 50 man limit they may already know they cannot use all these picks. A trade up may alleviate the situation, but it would have to be a big trade in the 1st round.
SY knows he needs a game changing forward on this roster as time is wasting.

The hype this year's Vegas team, when staying to pure "on-ice facts" compared to this year's competition has all been true, but at the same time all the statements of their historical greatness has been extremely disrespectful towards last year's Avalanche.
Benson over Moore for me. He is the definition of an Yzerman pick. He just does everything really good & competes at one of the highest levels in the draft.
His compete is better than Moore too. Just slightly though.

If I had a family, Florida, in its current condition, is not an environment I'd want them to be around.
Drafting a Russian player is madness. Fedorov is my all time favorite player, but the country is too unsettled right now. Michkov may never be allowed to play in the NHL.
