I’m I crazy for thinking Lamar is a much better runner than Fields. Fields can run fast in a straight line but he doesn’t have Lamar’s shiftiness or change or direction. Have to disagree with Simms with saying Fields is the biggest rushing threat

Tua and Watson have both won and have proved that when on the field, they are competent throwers of the football… Fields hasn’t proven he’s a Qb… much less has he won consistently
Remains to be seen what Fields can do re: passing in the NFL. Hope he improves this year
Tua is not a question on the field but he may be essentially out of football at the end of the season. Fields on QB passing talent and getting out of the top 10 in the draft, same goes for Love accept he has only 1 year. Watson has nothing to prove yet, he would have to be bottom third and get his coach fired before he needs anything.
Technically it's not Tua's 2nd year. I don't believe we are going to get more out of Fields. The answer is Watson. Tua does not "need"…Tua "WILL HAVE". Watson "needs", last year was his welcome back. This year must be a put the petal to the metal year for Watson, he is up against two div rivals that are arguably the best 2023 season teams in the AFC…Cin and Bal.
Does last years new rule allowing mutual contact between a DB and a receiver have a negative impact against shorter receivers? The rule used to be no contact after 5 yds. Last year…if both players were holding each other the rule allowed them to play (no foul if both were holding). Does that negatively impact shorter players?
Kooper Kupp does not belong because he is un-stoppable. Thomas and Ridely both need to show us something this year.

I mean nothing he said about Fields in the passing is really wrong. He’s got work to do. His passing is nowhere near the level of his running but his running may be the best ever.
I don’t disagree that much with his QB list (I think Mac Jones should be well below JF1 and Cousins should be further down) but I don’t know if I’d put Fields higher than 15-16 and for sure below Watson and Tua. Right now.
By October we’re probably singing a different tune.
