  1. On a recent visit to a well known Surrey course, the starter told me a story that Patrick Reed turned up to use the practice facilities. After practicing for a few hours he then collected all the balls he used from the range. How respectful is that!!!!!

  2. Thoughts on 1st round
1 – 45 yard wide fairways what was the USGA thinking
2 – Johnny Millers head exploded
    3 – 100% this is a drawers course
4 – Early days but apart from Xanders Mum everyone is rooting for Rickie

  3. I got a Amazingly Huge Tip once ……. My Mum said don’t eat Yellow snow ❄️…….. Fantastic advice …

  4. As a Courtesy Car driver here in Adelaide , I was fortunate enough to drive Patrick several times from Airport , Motel and golf course . Of the many other players I drove , Patrick was the most friendly and appreciative of our service . The media need / want a bad boy for their stories and they've picked on him . The crowds here in Adelaide followed the media's line and he copped a lot of abuse , even hanging out of their cars yelling at him as we drove back to the motel . To me , he's a Masters Champion and I'm proud to say I've shaken his hand . Thanks Patrick !

  5. reed is a very nice guy one of the nicer guys on tour always say hi when he sees u and very friendly when u play with him !

  6. Me and My Daughter were are at the 150th Open practice days last year, Jon Rahm was right next to us and I asked Jon if he wouldnt mind having a photo with my wee one, he said "no, I have to get to work as ive never played here before" and then he left us standing (it was only us there), however, Patrick Reed and his caddy were just driving past at this point and saw this unfold. So, Patrick drove 100 yards further down the path, did a U turn and gave my daughter a signed Pro-V1 and said hello. I thought that was a touch of class, I never believe anything the media tells me anyway, he seemed like a great guy to me. However Alex, Melodie got more star stuck meeting you at Mottramhall last year 🙂

  7. Tbf I bet most golfers tip alot but it doesn't make the media, but him doing it does 🤔

  8. I've never bought into the hate Patrick Reed gets. There are so many more villains out there to worry about someone who "sort of" brushed the sand back on a practice swing or flicked a golf tee in the direction of someone who was being a total dick to him.

  9. so I think there are always two sides to everyone's story and journey, and let's be honest, it is usually only the negative publicity that gets reported, as this sparks people's interest much more

  10. How is this surprising? He has shown himself to be a prick and a gentleman. So if he plays either of his hands then it should not amaze anyone.

If I had to caddie for anyone then I would prefer to caddie for someone around the same distance as me. Would make life so much easier. Work smart not overly hard.

  11. He can afford it & he did the right thing. The amount was very appropriate. Unfortunately, the man now has to answer to the IRS.

  12. Wether it’s Hollywood, or wether it’s top level sports, or a politician. a celebrity is a celebrity, and will do or say whatever is necessary to feed their agendas. They live in a whole different world than us common working people, yet they wouldn’t be where they are without us. Patrick was always one of my favorites. The only thing I have against him is him going to LIV. As far as his antics go, I guess it depends on which side of the pond you’re on, because I don’t find him to be any worse in that regard than YOUR Ian P. I like pride, just not ugly pride. Keep up the good work

  13. He might be disliked by other players but isnt the number 1, that accolade goes to another american, left handed, pink driver, enough said 😂

  14. I'm a thirty year caddy, guest once asked me the most money anyone had paid me? I had thought about this question cause people would ask occasionally, non-golfers have no idea what a caddy does. So my response was I didn't know the most someone ever paid me, but bullshited and said someone once gave me a $100 tip, which was a total lie. He ended up giving me $167, I was making ng $60 a shoulder at the the me, that day I made $235,!not bad for a Friday.
