  1. $700 for just one club? No way on the world would any sane person spend that. Spend the money on lessons and learn to hit it straight. Only the filthy rich can afford such a club or a set of them. Where do folks get their money or do they just put it all in a credit card? I buy which the money I have. So I would not even pay $700 for a full set of clubs including the bag. I’m glad some of you can afford it, but be careful what you show folks. Most of us could not even afford the shaft in that club. Along with all other items being sold, folks are going to price themselves right out of business. Go bankrupt. I don’t even. Want to see you gets something that pricey. You are not helping anyone doing that.

  2. Being able to provide all my needs without the help of the Government is really a dream come through and I’m getting $50,000 returns from my $7,600k investment

  3. My sweet spot in drivers is a 55g shaft, 45" long and a swing weight of D2 and I like to feel the shaft kick in the downswing.
Anything heavier (total & swing weight) feels too boardy for me and I struggle to get the correct flight.

  4. Recently traded in my Ping G driver with 55G regular flex for ParadymX with 40G A flex. I picked up 5 mph club head speed. I really like the lighter shaft and find it to be very consistent. I don't feel like I need to slow my swing down to get good results out of this driver/shaft combination. My stock swing speed is 85, and like you, should I really try to go for it, I tend to pull it left. Very happy with my choice. Portugal looks beautiful. Thanks for your videos!

  5. Andy I see comments on the price of equipment. Yes it is expensive but so are cars bicycles etc. What I'd like to talk about is the price of a round of golf , I looked at Hillside today and it's £250 a round . I showed it to my non golfing colleague who couldn't understand why it's so expensive. What do you think or would not like to say in case they get upset with you.

  6. Wasn’t the whole Autoflex story based on a light whippy shaft.

  7. I experimented with a 45g stiff shaft in a low spin head (9° M5). I liked it but it still launched too high – no roll.

  8. Given the rather high price, I checked around for resale clubs and there are plenty of similar setups available. Wilson alone has a good selection at under $200 USD. I think XXIO is late to the party with this one.

  9. Really appreciate the content, Andy! Great stuff! Curious as to actual numbers – maybe get this thing inside the studio for some head-to-head with your gamer so we can see where it's spinning/launch angle, all the good stuff. Obviously playability on-course is paramount, but I'd be very curious to see if your expectations were just low because of the lightness of the shaft, or if it really was going further. I've hit some of the best drives of my life with a 45-g A-flex counterbalanced shaft, but I've also found that if my timing/rhythm is off even slightly, so is the drive – much harder to be consistent with it than with a "standard" shaft. Curious if you're experiencing anything similar (other than the two shots where you "went after" it).

  10. 55-60 same as you – 36 wow – if you can keep the slow transition great but I would worry about going over the top 🥴

  11. Dang it Andy……lol….Now you have me wanting to try this driver….its 899.00 ( Canadian ) here…now ya got me thinking ….lol….mind you i do love my STEALTH 2 HD Driver……great video sir and cheers from Canada

  12. Okay, I love your reviews but in this case I need to comment . The real best shaft is Autoflex. Other reviews like TXG confirm it. I gained close to 20 yards with my PXG Gen 6 driver, try it with any head with a D0 swing weight and it blows away the competition, expensive but worth it.

  13. 48g regular in my Honma 535 bezeal 2017 model and still the best driver I have owned.
Really considered a XXi0 but price putting me off.

  14. I tried the XXIO driver a few years ago. I was not impressed. I hit my drives better with my regular driver.

  15. Used a 12° ping g430 with a 35 g shaft from the pro shop, while waiting for my Big Bertha,,, great results for me

  16. 68 grams in my driver, always end up being fit and have the best results from a shaft around 70 grams.

  17. Would love to see you try the Krank Fire X driver with a thinner/harder face than anything on the market. My 83 yr old mother in law loves the XXIO.

  18. I demoed this driver a couple of weeks ago at the driving range. I'm a slow swing golfer and was incredibly impressed. It outperformed my Ping 425 and was more consistent. The XXIO X is for higher swings. Thanks for the review.

  19. You should definitely consider keeping this in your bag. I've been gaming with the XX10 MP1100 driver R graphite shafts and irons R graphite shafts since they were released. Great clubs for my slow senior swing speed (80-90 mph). I can carry 230 yards on most drives. Their fairway woods and hybrids are also great.

  20. 55g R in an epic max . Next driver will have maybe a 12* with sub 50g shaft. I’m getting on a bit now. And want something easier to hit. What do you think? I’ve tried the ping 430 in a 12* head .

  21. Andy – that XXIO looks very interesting. Was thinking of Cleveland Halo Xl Lite but confused now 😮— if you see this, do you have to take all your review clubs as airplane luggage? That must be quite the challenge. Great vid again!

  22. The Cleveland Launcher XL Driver has the same counterbalanced shaft. It contains a little plug weight that fits into the top of the shaft near the grip butt.

  23. Another youtuber 'punting' a club that is out of the reach of 95% of the amateur golfers out there, how much did xxio pay you for the endorsement?

  24. On the US website, they show 41 grams cut weight for that shaft in the XXIO 12 driver. But you have 36 grams. I wonder if they have different specs in different markets.

  25. I tested XXIO drivers at a demo day a few years ago. The first hits were unbelievable. Then I started hooking and couldn’t rein it in. My buddy however was killing it. He paid the $650 and has never looked back. It transformed his driving.

  26. Hi Andy , Bryon here from Melbourne Australia . Are u able to do a video on the course with your driver and this XXIO driver. Cheers from Melbourne

  27. I tried an auto flex shaft at 2nd Swing. Smooth as silk, didn’t crush the drives on the monitor but I didn’t need to swing as hard and got good results. Unfortunately $899 but I need to find a cheaper shaft that has good results with taking a smooth good tempo swing.
