  1. Ha Ha…good one… keep it up, in todays media madness world, you might PIFGA to throw some money at GGG. It's like a lawyer who sues a huge corporation knowing they'll pay them just to go away. GOLF is a sport… Professional Golf is entertainment. You and I play the sport. Anyone who plays for money is an entertainer. Bobby Jones had it right. So did Byron Nelson.

  2. I think events like the YouTube masters should become a big deal, and that could have a MAJOR impact. expose everyone to the events and advertise that these people play year round and upload year round, and that could help the rise of YouTube golf in general. Purists stay with PGA, everyone else go to LIV. I think if they have different formats that could help each stand out so that they arent directly competing, but moreso coexisting. Unlike LIV, GGG isnt recruiting PGA players, and their funding is legit, so i think that all leads to a good friendship and not hate towards eachother

  3. Relatable is an important word for golf, and I think it's a huge reason why YT golf in general has been blowing up the past few years.

One of the greatest things about golf is that anyone can play the same courses, same equipment, same instruction…etc of the professional players. But let's be honest, the way professional players actually play is far from relatable for most. Your weekend warrior that likes golf isn't hitting par 5's in two on the reg.

It's also relatable for entertainment purposes. Fun banter on the course, maybe a few beverages…etc. It's almost like the fanfare that Daly brought to the game. Normal people like to go out to the course just to have some fun with their friends, and that's the vibe YT golf brings.

Good Good, Rick, EAL, yourself, and many others brought relatable golf to the table and IMO it's a great product. I'm an avid golfer and a teaching professional. I actually think if I added up the hours I've watched between YT Golf vs Professional Golf — Youtube golf wins hands down. Never thought I would say that, but here we are and I think it's here to stay.

  4. I don’t watch GGG when it’s just the average team golf – I prefer watching scratch golf – I loved the Luke Kwon tour of New Zealand courses with his mate Taco …

  5. Yes, I've watched all the Good Good videos and only a fraction of the amount of that have I ever watched PGA Tournaments. I've also watched every round of LIV because I can easily watch it the next week while I'm working on YouTube or their app. I could see Good Good GC being a LIV Team in the future as a sponsor.

  6. Been saying this forever. LIV missed a huge opportunity to incorporate YouTubers into their events

  7. You said it urself it’s becoming a mini tour. The closer it gets to real golf the more it will be put at the bottom of the totem poll behind all the bigger tours.
I’m not a purist, been very adamant about LIv as a good good for golf is some folks weren’t such fools, but I’m so uninterested in this I don’t even know if I can stick out this whole video. I get people will wanna watch this but they need to be careful they are what they are that makes them popular and not just another tour.

  8. I think we’re all in a little bit of a YouTube bubble. There are way more people in the world that have no idea to think to watch golf and many other things on YouTube just saying.

  9. I’m almost 60 and the idea of a Good Good mini tour to watch on the tube would be awesome!!! And what you do with Back 9 is way better than the golf channel for information. As it has been going for so far for me has been only watching the Open the Masters and now the GG finial 12!!!

  10. Good Good is the future of golf for entertainment and I would rather watch Good Good than the
    PGA or DP World.

  11. I'm 64 years old and enjoy watching good good, Rick, bustajack and others. PGA is boring and too long. Younger guys keep me young.

  12. LIV was professional answers to the archaic stale model of golf that online has captured. LIV is personality based and attacking golf every hole. Time will tell if the merged entity sees this logic or persists with 12 players coming out in groups of 3 and dragging on for 8-10 hours…………

  13. I am now 68 y o. And have been addicted to Golf for the last 34 years watching all pro events every day. So would think I belong to the group you refer to as the avid golfers. Yet been following GG for the last 4 years with all their videos including GM golf and other members pay channels. Now my viewing time ratio is 5:1 GG and all other YouTube channels to the pro events ( PGAT, DPW and LIV).
So 100% agree with your comments and predictions. That said GG needs to stand back and draw a revised 5 year plan on where they want to be.

  14. Jay just got his ass handed to him by LIV golf! Why do you think they supposedly put him in charge!!?? yep you got it come here bitch this is what we want you to do now!~

  15. I don't know if I'm just a boring old fart but I don't much care for them…. bit like liv golf, all noise and full of their own self importance and not much good honest golf….. but each to their own 🥴😔😴

  16. Lol. Surely you are taking the piss. Most people don't even know who Good Good golf is. They are irrelevant amateurs which kids watch. Good Good likely won't be around in 5 years.

  17. They will certainly be a force to be reckoned with. In terms of entertainment they are up there with Rick Shiels. But that's just it, they can compete in the entertainment world more than the PGA Tour can, PGA Tour competes with other sports but Good Good and RS can compete with mainstream entertainment. There is a case for saying that Rick's event later this year can, if it gets the livestream, have better viewing figures than PGA Tour.

  18. Totally agree guys. Watching the pros on the weekend is minimum for me the U tube stuff is entertaining more for me.

  19. Good good are a breath of fresh air for golf , we mere mortals are on the tail of liv and the pga. They can’t ignore it.

  20. I watched only 2 or 3 of their videos, and just get annoyed when they are in a collab with some of the other channels I watch on here. Not a fan.

  21. Other than the Majors and Sunday at LIV events, I don't watch much golf on TV. However, I do watch a TON of golf on YouTube…much more entertaining. I am 60 something and have played golf for many years and YouTube golf is SO much fun, so much more entertaining and frankly much more informative than the talking heads from golf commentators.

  22. Lol so who won the Good Good tournament?

To me the best Good Good videos are the more crazy and off the wall stuff like “scrambles or battle golf”. As for them playing straight stroke play it’s ok but they are not pga level.

  23. this is way too funny…
GoodGood is a situation comedy, like Seinfeld they will get out when the getting is good(good)…
can anybody really believe that GoodGood will let more than 5 more years?
a grey haired unmarried Garrett and Stephen never even qualifying for Korn Ferry…

  24. This is a major stretch. They’ve had celebrity tours forever. Watching pretty good golfers play will never replace the PGA, com on.

  25. the average tv audience for non major pga events is 2.5 million. Good Good Championship will do 1.25 million. Much more than the LIV events. Good Good is now a major player or the major player in Golf. Think about it, their content including their individual channels on a monthly basis have over 15 millions views. Calloway was smart in getting on board. Garrett Morris is going to be a major player in Golf for many years heading the one of the major networks as a main announcer. When they first started I said the value of the Good Good franchise would one day over $100 million and we are already there.

  26. GG not for me. I prefer Rick, Pete, Matt, Liam and his gang of Glof mates, Ange, Tubes and The Bulldog, Danny Maude and some others.

  27. Two completely different markets though. I watch Good Good, Rick Shield etc for fun and interest for my own game. I watch LIV and PGA to see professional golf. They aren't competing products at all.

  28. Couldn't agree more, I am a purist also but do love the Good Good entertainment approach. At the end of the day, I just love any good golf. I call it a light with serious edge of videos.

  29. The pga tour coverage is boring, i only watch the biggest comps. Sky coverage of the dp tour is miles better.
