This is great
Nobody is going for this green; unless they're so far behind they want to give their kids something to remember daddy when he blew it, huge. The risk reward just does not work out in any way; unless the tee can be pushed up where the distance is under 250yds. Why would you torpedo your round before the 7th hole; now if its the 17th maybe desperation works into the equation.
They keep calling this a drivable hole, but this hole is almost as impossible to hit the green as the 10th at riviera. And the risk reward is even worse. The play should be to layup in front, hit a wedge and try to make a birdie. What’s the sense in trying to take on all that shit. Unless it’s Sunday and you got nothing to lose. It’s an amazing hole. Would look like a lot of fun to play if you’re in your game.
