Tim Anderson is a BUST. He is a first round pick that has been injury prone and has not hit a home run in Chicago (home games) in a full calendar year. You could call up multiple prospects and get better production in place of "TA". The White Sox and many of their fans wanted TA to be the face of the franchise by just willing it to be…because of his personality, his style, his commentary…but guess what he lacks…the ability to hit & play consistently. He's not as good as you want him to be, he's not better than what you have at Double A much less Tripple A. This team's major flaw was getting rid of Renteria as mgr. Same can be said of the Cubs; David Ross is not a good manager…Renteria got screwed at both places. He wasn't perfect, but he was better than any of the managers Chicago currently has. Andrew Vaughn was a number 3 overall pick & currently has 3 hits in his last 24 ABs. Combine this with Tim Anderson's awful production….that's two first round picks that are not performing to a lvl that should be expected of an MLB starter. They are both busts…over touted, over-hyped…under-performing. Wanna see good? Look to the North Side and watch Christopher Morel. Ross and Jed should both be fired for letting him sit in the minor leagues while the likes of Eric Hosmer took up roster spots. Lest you think that the first 40 games of the season don't matter. David Ross is bad. He was a catcher…he should know bad pitching when he sees it…yet he still marched out Fulmer? I'm sorry but everyone knows "ROSSY" is getting a free pass because of 2016. He's not a good manager.He's bad. He's a good interview, people like to talk to him…I get it, but he's not a good game manager. His constant line-up shuffling doesn't work, it has not made for a more productive team. Alozay should be closing…period. The recent loss in Houston was totally unacceptable. Theo & Jed sold everyone on "sustained winning"…that was a lie. You don't do it like this. They've made some of the worst free agent signings ever…given away talent…and allowed under-performers to escape accountability. Not a formula for sustained success.
People can't wait to be mad at TA over anything reason that they can make up. I hope he knows not take it personally and that there are those of us who love what he brings to this organization.
