The DoorDash 250 was a very clean race. The race ended with only two cautions and a few spin-outs but no major wrecks. Kyle Larson came out blazing and got the clean sweep and won Stages 1 and 2. Larson was able to lead most of the race but as the race dwindled down, Aric Almirola was able to steal first place. Aric and Kyle battled things out with Larson trying his best to get the lead back, but in his effort to get the lead, he took a wide turn with eight laps to go and fell to third place with A. J. Allmendinger taking second place. Aric Almirola was able to hold off Allmendinger and Larson to capture the big upset win at the DoorDash 250 at Sonoma Raceway.

I'm a catlr enthusiast mostly in the JDM& Italian market. I work on japanese cars& love Italian. So, as far as competitive car racing goes I'm really into drifting, drag, rally & street. So I've never really paid attention to like nascar & formula.

At the rate Larson was driving, I didn't expect him to make a veteran mistake that cost him the win. Who knew an old underdog from the Monster Energy series would end up winning this race! Wow! 😃

I absolutely hate the fact that Cup Series drivers are allowed to compete in the XFinty and Truck series. Although I know they can’t gain any points in their Cup standings by winning in these series, they bite a real chunk out of the money. And it just feels wrong !!! Let young inexperienced drivers have a go at winner’s circle instead of Larson, Allmendinger etc. Drivers to series !
Looks like Anheuser-Busch picked Dylan Mulvaney as the new NASCAR spokesperson and I couldn't be happier to know that auto racing is beginning to embrace the new way forward for this country and in perfect timing mid way through pride month hopefully our colorful flag will soon replace the checkered flag
