Ha Ha Ha 😂 After all of OTB's clucking about the Saudis 🐓
The schadenfreude is fabulous today. Millionaires and billionaires asking ordinary people to care about who runs the Golf monopoly
So money from Arabs permeates the lovely golf world and certainly changes “THE TONE”.
Not long before football go the same way
Within hours, we went from the "Golf Tour", to the "Gulf Tour"?
Love the Saudis. It’s amazing how money talks. Poor Rory and his mouth.
Money rules the world.
Thank you Greg Norman. Your legacy will be a true world tour. The Gandhi of independance for professional golfers. You could have had a retirement in Florida however your heart was in International Golf. You have been dragged thru the mud and called all sorts of names but your dream was strong. I went to the LIV golf event in Adelaide SA Australia saved up my money for 12 months just to see all the great golfers play. There hasn't been a field of this quality in Australia since the 1970's. Thank you Greg.
EU Tour now knows the real meaning of DP
I am making no opinion until i see Conor Moore's take on all of this!
What happens when Trump starts showing up ?
The Saudis have effectively executed a hostile takeover of the PGA Tour.
Love the "peace in our time" Chamberlain quote . Didn't end well for any one
LPGA has nothing to do with this wretched merger. So still quality golf to follow for the alienated fan.
The the evil empire has subjugated golf and the guys who stood by their principals are now part of the clown show WWE equivalent.
The most important aspect is that the best players compete against each other. What difference does it make who pays the cheques? It’s funny how the PGA tour tried to use 9/11 against LIV, no word about the illegal war in Iraq in 2003 that killed over one million innocent civilians . I’m not trying to justify the saudis reprehensible acts but america commits more and worse. It was a fight about power and the pga lost, tough
For such an important item the sound is terrible
I'm going to morning Ireland
A great day for the parish
Turned down a sign on fee of 400 million … I'd be fuming
What a tragedy. What a shame. What a fool Greg Norman truly is. Boycotted as of today.
Riath Al-Samari might have Saudi origins
TELL US ABOUT CHINA JAY!!!!PGA Tour China is one of several developmental circuits sponsored The PGA. The PGA Tour appears unfazed by China’s appalling human rights record, which currently includes accusations of brutal persecution of its Uyghur Muslim population. The PGA Tour’s failure to file a 990 form disclosing its financial dealings with Chinese private equity firm Yao Capital As a tax-exempt organization, the PGA Tour is required to disclose such business dealings in China. It seems a clear case of the PGA Tour trying to have it both ways: gaining entry into the lucrative and largely untapped Chinese golf market, while flying under the radar of U.S. regulators and the IRS.
Its reported that the PGA will own a majority of the new company. Because of a Saudi investment that could be billions, the PGA's majority ownership will be worth much much more than its prior ownership interest. Moreover, the PGA will control the board of the new company. No way that arrangement constitutes the Saudis buying golf. They have a piece of it, though.
