    So Phil and all the other guys who jumped to LIV got paid hundreds of millions to take a one-year sabbatical from the PGA tour? Is this real?

    All these people complaining about the Saudis must don't own anything not built in a country with dictators or human rights issues? What Country is responsible for the most deaths is probably the United States. Most everything is produced in countries with Grimey people running it. Nevermind the underlying racism still in Golf thus all the minorities that stormed the field because of Tiger Woods?
    International Racism towards soccer players is just as bad. This ideal Norman Rockwell world has never existed. Exploitation has been the norm especially in sports.

    They should be pissed. LIV players got Million dollar signing bonuses. The Loyal PGA guys thought they were gonna get banned so they stayed loyal and Lost Millions!!! No more signing bonuses ide imagine. The whole deal reeks of back door dealings and corruption. Clearly Jay Monahan got a BAG

    Horrible, horrible day for golf!! The PGA tour and Jay (because frankly, he's lost all respect) should have jumped in front of this much earlier. This was known to be coming down the pipe at least a year before the Saudis tour started. This is the result of poor leadership, poor planning and poor response by Jay. The PGA acted like they were the end all, be all of golf and missed out on one little thing, $. Pat Perez said it best when he reportedly said, "our tour's money doesn't grow on trees, it comes out of the ground ".

    It's like a headline I saw, this wasn't a slap in the PGA player's face, it was a sucker punch!

    Dan Patrick and his crew of lackey's, this is rich,plain and simple,PGA knew that their dealings with advertiser's who had direct relationships with Arab Emirates would come out on court…..well they couldn't have their bigoted business model exposed on TV….😂,how many of Dan's sponsors do business with Arab companies 🤔…

    Isn't this the death of the PGA as a representative body? How can it NOT be? In all the talk in the wake of this "merger" why is no one (or very few) pointing out that Saudi money will be the SOLE source of investor money? In other words, its all about money, always was, and just like the NCAA, why should anyone listen to them (PGA) anymore as an enforcement arm, so much so that even the term "paper tiger" doesn't even describe their "bark with no bite" status.

    I guess I can stop wasting my time on professional golf. The best thing to do is follow your high school's sports teams. It costs a few bucks, you are close to the action and you can love the athletes without reservation. To hell with LIV/PGA, college football and NIL and the rest of it. I'll miss college football, but maybe I can make my yard look really nice. That'll be much more satisfying.

    Jay Monahan and the PGA had no clue what they could be up to on the lawsuit … unfortunately in the end the court wanted the PGA (Jay Monahan) to open their books but Jay M. refused …. that decision was a catastrophic error a blunder of EPIC proportion …. as such the PGA and JM was Checkmate. Jay lied to the PGA players …. he told them "don't take the $ dont go to LIV …. in the end he did the exact opposite … Jay took the deal (only who knows how much $ he is going to get from this deal ) and sold the PGA….. talk about Hypocrisy that is Jay Monahan….

    Choker Rory McIlroy nowhere to be found … he and Cry baby Billy Horcshel are at Hooters with Greg begging to get a deal …. unfortunately there is lol nothing left for them except a job at the cleaners. Good for them what goes around comes around.

    "We win as golf fans?" What about golf fans that lost family or friends in the terror attacks of 9-11 that the Saudi government were complicit in ? I wonder how they feel, Dan ? How soon morons like you have forgotten that horrible day, and the years of devastation it caused after, and in so many ways.
