I watched Rory McIlroy talk during his Press Conference today and he said everything but, what's the fβΒ’king point. He put himself out there for all the criticism in the world – got it, and then The PGA Tour (JM) sold him down the river. Human beings are so fβΒ’king disappointing.
People are saying PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan should be sacked, he has to go — He's the NEW CEO of The Entity that will now OWN Golf. They will own The PGA Tour & DP World Tour. He's not staying on as Commish. Saudi Arabia bought Golf and pocketed him in the process to make it happen.
This trio are so much more listenable than the crazies talksh1te has on its other shows.

Players like Rory should quit the pga altogether, he doesnβt need the money, never a fan of his but canβt defend the pga here, the head of pga a disgrace
Jay should have just worked with PIF from the beginning. Instead he tried to destroy a group that was willing to invest in the sport. Dumb. Rory is just salty he didnt take the 200-300m he was offered. I guess he can cry into his 200m bank balance. LIV golfs viewing figures was bad because the pga tour likely destroyed their ability to get a tv deal. I think a major part of the reason the pga tour merged was to do with the doj antitrust investigation which i'm fairly certain they would have lost resulting in them losing their tax free status. They also knew their tour would have probably been broke within 20 years. They ensured their survival by joining forces. They look stupid as they brought politics into sport.
I think you missed read Rory. He was aware that they were in negotiation. Also he defended Jay in the players meeting by all accounts. Any credibility Rory had with fellow pro's is fast evaporating

Its comical guys like Rory claiming "moral objections" to Saudi money when he's been cashing massive checks from Nike for 15 years. Nike is one of the most unethical companies in the universe. In the US they make a fortune by selling a theme of taking a knee in protest to un-named injustices , while at the same time bowing down in subservience to the dictators in communist China… so they are granted rights to exploit cheap slave-like labor,and sell their merch to a market 4 times the size of the US to make a much larger fortune… all while ignoring actual and frequent human rights issues. The guys that took the LIV money were honest, they play for fortune and fame, in that order. Where does Rory think the Nike money is coming from? I've never heard him speak out against his benefactor…the Peoples Republic of China. What a clown.
