Is Colorado Leaving The PAC 12 For BIG 12 Expansion?

Colorado is a red hot name in BIG 12 Expansion, but is Colorado really on the verge of leaving the PAC 12 for the BIG 12, and is Arizona and Arizona State tied together, or will Arizona leave for BIG 12 Expansion while also leaving Arizona State in the PAC 12?

  1. Will the big 12 be paying $44 million per member after Texas and Oklahoma leave? It’s really about going forward not this year. I’m not saying the Pac 12 is going to be anywhere near big 12 money, but let’s not overstate the value of the big 12 after 2023.

  2. 4 premier new members? Seriously, lets not oversell it. If PAC members leave it’s because their conference is a dumpster fire right now not because of how great The Big 12 is.

  3. How many hour long segments are you going to make on this topic multiple days in a row….

  4. ASU, Arizona, Utah and Colorado to the BIG 12. Oregon, Washington, Stanford, and California to the BIG 10. Washington St. and Oregon St. to the Mountain West. Done…. Pac 12 is over.

  5. Saying $20 million is "just a line item" in a billion dollar budget is not recognizing the fact that the athletic budget can't take money from the academic or research budgets. Funds are allocated to specific purposes, and most research money comes from outside sources under contracts. Paying a football coach $5 million, a basketball coach $3 million, and a women's basketball coach $2 million, you need $10 million to start a staff, much less cover assistant coaches, travel, scholarships, trainers, equipment, food, etc.

  6. Can Arizona “not” afford to go? They are a great basketball school and would thrive in the Big XII

  7. ASU got their price to stay in the PAC, AAU membership. Only Colorado to the Big 12. Washington and Oregon to the Big 10. The remaing 7 will add San Diego state at a reduced rate.

  8. Here in Iowa, the U of I actively yearns for the demise of ISU. Screw the Sun Devils.

  9. So you have one school that is responsible and above board that wants to make a move to a better-managed, more competitive, more lucrative conference, & a mess of a school that wants to stay in a mess of conference. Maybe it’s not a good idea to hinder the responsible school. Maybe it’s a good idea to motivate the mess to act more like it’s responsible big brother.

  10. Wow, the Pac10 is a dramatized mess. Sounds like a reality TV show.
We have none of this crappola in the B12.
The B12 adding Pac10 teams is subtraction by addition.

  11. We don't need ASU, Washington State, nor cl. They say they are so rich with thier academic money, and yet they are in debt. LMAO. They don't deserve to be in a P3 if they can't pay thier bills.
