On the ball I use, I place the straight line at the bottom right going to the top left. Rather than draw a line on the ball, I use the balls natural markings. Same principal Alex. Thanks.

Alex, congratulations on the big Vice sponsorship. I'm 76 years old and I have been following your hints this summer, and I have been getting a lot more length and far less slicing on my drives. The problem is that I am hitting way too many dead pulls to the left now. That would be ok except for all of the trees on the left sides of a lot of our holes. I still can't hit draws, but the pulls are killing me. Help! What am I overcorrecting to have this happen?

#1 I love Vice Golf Balls.
#2 I've been putting the driver 6-12 inches behind the ball for the better part of a year now. An added benefit of that is if you set up correctly it aligns your shoulders and hips in a better setup. Instead of slicing 90% of the time I may get 1 a round and that's caused by other faults.
I'd wondered when I saw the bag if you'd switched to Vice! I used to play them, but the ball their fitter put me in was just too costly for the number I lose off the tee! Perhaps this lesson will help me set that right.
Amazingly weird videos lately…. like your trying to invent something new that's totally &/%R$/&/ !!!!! Every golfer out there …. not a beginner knows one has to fix the grip and elbow on the right hand setup to fix slices to begin with …. i've never seen such foolishness in my life … WHY your doing this i have no idea … always loved your short brilliant actually teaching videos…. hope u stop this &%&/ ASAP …. your million times better than this …. specially if your TOP 50… !!!
So, Alex, are you twisting the handle counter clockwise when you reach hip height (in the downswing) to get that toe ahead of the heel?

when I put all the pieces together it makes a nice gentle draw. now I just need to work on consistency with that.

Hi Alex, please can you do one or two videos on how to correctly finish golf swings on irons, hybrids and drivers. I tend to pull slightly to the left and not finish properly or when trying to correct this I finish with my arms straight and it doesn't feel correct as I seem to over focussing on my finish rather than hitting the golf ball. Thanks Stuart

Just FYI what I like most about vice balls is their durability. They last. Period. Easily rivaling my other go to balls, the notorious Prov1 and Srixon Z stars. They have great greenside control too and best of all, more affordable.
Great drill! The other thing I like to do is lay an alignment rod on the ground a few inches in front of my tee aiming slightly to the right to give me a visual indication of my clubhead path from in to out.
Going to try this, as I have an inconsistent swing. I also believe I over rotate in my backswing. Love Vice balls though! I even have the (very rare) Adidas Vice Golf Shoes.
I struggle getting through and onto my left side at the finish. I basically do the Mickelson sit back after impact….
