Vacaville barbershop receives 'cease and desist' order for reopening

— The city of Vacaville is ordering a barbershop that is defying county and state coronavirus restrictions to “cease and desist,” officials said Friday. Primo’s Barbershop in Vacaville was served a cease and desist order from the city after reopening against state and county guidelines. On Friday, Vacaville code enforcement officers made their fourth attempt in five weeks to make the business comply. “As a result, the City has informed [Primo’s Barbershop] via a letter delivered by the Vacaville Police Department that, if he continues to operate his shop, he could face a variety of legal actions,” the city said in a statement.
