The Bathurst 12 Hour, currently known as the LIQUI MOLY Bathurst 12 Hour, is an endurance race for GT and production cars held at the Mount Panorama Circuit, in Bathurst, Australia. It is an annual race, taking place every February. The race was first held in 1991 for Series Production cars and moved to Sydney’s Eastern Creek Raceway in 1995 before being discontinued. The race was revived in 2007, again for production cars, before adding a new class for GT3 and other GT cars in 2011. This has led to unprecedented domestic and international exposure for the event. In all, eighteen races have taken place; seventeen at Mount Panorama and one at Eastern Creek Raceway.

Thanks for sharing the race.
I enjoyed it greatly.🏁
The battle at the final hour is exciting. Maro charging his way to the top two is simply amazing. Wish we got another extra 20 minutes like what John said.

What a great race. To have the top 3 so close at the end, with over 4 hours of green flag running, is amazing. I kind of feel a drive through was a bit harsh on Engel though. Was it a penalty? Yeah. But a drive through took him right out. Not to mention the sensor issue that they were forced to change on the last stop that took them out of the lead in the first place. Question, whose sensor is that? Because the team said they can still see all telemetry in the pits. Was it a spec sensor provided to all teams by the governing body? If so, you can say that the governing body cost 999 the race two times over.
This is my fist time watching the Bathurst 12 Hour, and I must say the race control team is fantastic F1 could learn a lot from these guys
Good work Jules…congrats.
P2 Porsche power 💪🔝
The last two hours or so were bonkers. What a race.
2023 has been amazing to start this racing year! What an event and a great race!
Another amazing race ❤
This was awesome!
Meraviglioso!
Great Race, great show ! Bathurst rocks every time ! A little bad luck with Maro Engel, but servered for great action ! My wish for the next Race : lift a Helicopter-Camera in the air ! Like the 24h-Nürburgring, then TV-Spectators can watch battles out of the overview out of air ! I'm from Germany and 3-5 time a Year at the Nordschleife, I know what I mean !
I could not sit still for the last 43 minutes. What a race, just incredible. Those three drivers put everything on the line. Bathurst lives up to its reputation as one of the absolute best endurance races in the world!
So Mercedes sent a bunch of cars to make sure the Porsche didn't kick their ass this year.
I really hope John Hindhaugh can sleep on planes, because if he can't, he won't have gotten any sleep in two weeks with all his world travels from Daytona to Mount Panorama!
Commercials every 5minutes…. For real. Unwatchable, no thanks.
Needed 1 more lap
I wish I could feel what it was like in one of these car just for a lap or 2 one time. I’d could pay.
Maro Maro Maro. Man what a beast of a drive. Never thought he would back in camera shot of the leaders. The man almost won. Drive of the day.
Great win for Joules G( misspelling intended) Energy for days to drive that long and consistent. Great job by Sun energy team.
Matty C did the 991.2 proud. Nice run.
Great race at Battyhurst. THIS IS RACING.
Happy with the out come but would be much happier if the 999 won. They got screwed. They would have never been in that position if was for the governing bodies faulty equipment. Just wrong on so many levels. And on top of that it was transmitting just not to race control. So if they don't see they will ruin someone's race to see it. The governing body should never determine a out come. They should have just dealt with it. It was their crappy equipment that failed. And shame on the commentators for not drive home the point to the governing body that it was wrong for them to do that.
I love the in car shots of the full laps!!!
Just a 12 hour long commercial for Mercedes, even worse than in the past. I won't be watching this race anymore.
No controversy this year. Just very hard racing. What a finish! Thanks very much for posting the race. I may watch the last hour 20 more times. Another great Bathurst race.
I love that race so much, i love Bathurst 12 hours!! It's amazing!!🥳🥳🥳 must see it live🏁
It always amazes me how well these race cars are built. To run pretty much nonstop for 12 or 24 hour races and not have have major catastrophic engine or transmission failures is really impressive.
That ending was on par with 2015 when Katsumasa Chiyo brought home the Nissan GTR
Australians are very courteous and polite – they're also tough as nails!
From watching it live to 2 weeks to finish it. Shame of the end of the race.
Drive through penalty was too harsh, took 999 out of 2nd place, a 10s penalty would be more than enough, considering 75 was 8s behind after contact, even more so when they where lenient with the Pro R8 crash.
I really appreciate Bathurst for giving us a pure GT endurance race where anyone can win and the battle for 1st isn't just a two horse race between prototypes.
That circuit with exquisite layouts, I give it 10 stars out of 10.
