The 2023 Hall of Fame Class was inducted into the TU Athletic Hall of Fame Saturday night at the Lorton Performance Center on the TU campus.
Four All-Americans – volleyball athlete Tyler Henderson, track and cross-country star Alex Becker, tennis’ Arnau Brugues and football punter Rick Engles – were joined by former NFL head coach Ray Rhodes and the 1922 Undefeated Football Team as The University of Tulsa’s 2023 Athletic Hall of Fame Class.
Rhodes was unable to attend the event but TU teammate Rick Childer accepted on his behalf, while Baptiste Shunatona IV represented the 1922 team and his great grandfather Baptiste ‘Bat’ Shunatona.
