  1. The biggest losers are people like me who did not support LIV because of the funding by a rogue regime and will not support the PGA tour going forward for the same reason. Screw Jay Monahan. I've just dropped ESPN+ so I will at least save a little money from this.

  2. You guys are assuming that the LIV guys have been paid all of their money. Most of them signed 4-5 year contracts, so they have not gotten all that money yet.

  3. LIV isn't going anywhere! You guys are so far up the PGA they you still try to make it all PGA and their way.

  4. Pga players had no idea how precarious their future was with the pga running out of cash

  5. This host is a moron, says let’s not get personal then gets personal with Greg Norman and LIV Golf

  6. The end of the PGA Tour, looks like I’ll only be watching majors and Ryder/ Presidents Cup while we still have them. The Saudis will own and dismantle the entire sport into something no longer a gentlemen’s game.

  7. It wasn’t money that got this deal done the Saudis can kill anyone they want and get away with it. This was blackmail and intimidation

  8. Jay Monahan is Neville Chamberlain waving the Munich Agreement with Hitler and declaring peace in our time.

  9. Thanks, now a terrorist nation controls the world of golf. Thanks so much Greg and Phil, you ruined the fuccing game!

  10. The solution is easy for the defectors, all you have to do is remove their exemptions and make them have to go through qualifying again

  11. So help me out – courts were going to find the PGA Tour non competitive?! But now – no issue; it's not anti- competitive to have PIF run PGA Tour/LIV/DP remnants combined and it's NOT a monopoly?!

  12. They won’t be paying anything back, the PIF will make sure they don’t have to. The PGA tour won’t be running the world here. They will do what they are told. The players will be back in the tours and that’s that. And your nonsense that the players that didn’t go to LIV should be paid what they were offered is just stupidity. They turned it down. That’s the end of it.

  13. I am skeptical that this merger process ever gets done. Too many members feel burned. Jay won't survive.

  14. I demand an apology from all those who bashed me 'cause I called Monahan a hypocrite from the very beginning! LINE UP hypocrites!!😀
Jay Monahan needs to go. He's not good for golf. PGA Tour, USGA and all them who sided with Monahan need to bring a big time apology to LIV, to the pro-golfers and all of those deceived and wronged. Screw the dirty politics of the world golf associations who led by the USGA and the R&A. They're shameless! Now they want to fix everything with a little handshake like nothing happened. It's well seen now that they all needed LIV in all aspects, from their money to their renovation of the game's organization no doubts

  15. It's interesting that Greg Norman is no longer in the mix. The merger will elevate the competition on the PGA Tour. I am tired of watching Rickey Barnes and all of the has-beens that they backfilled the exit of LIV Players. They need to make the CUT the top 50 Players each week. Too much riff-raff.

  16. Interesting for sure. Definitely, the biggest losers from this are those players who towed the PGA line, defended it, and felt they were doing the right thing by not taking the money. And by losing, I mean they lost the money they could have had by defecting to LIV. However, at least they have the satisfaction that they defended themselves and did what they thought was right. Let's be honest, none of the guys that stayed with the PGA really "need" the money they might have gotten by going to LIV, so now they'll likely see some bigger paydays moving forward.

I'm definitely curious to know how much Jay is getting as CEO of this new entity.

Definitely a weird time and I'll definitely be tuning in to see how this shakes out.

  17. Why is anyone surprised? The true American religion is money. Trump proved it and this just reenforces it. Arabs finally realised that Americans don't react to force but bend over quickly to $$'s. Finally someone got it, it's all about the Benjamin's in THE USA USA 😂

  18. They need to come back to Firestone! Every tour player loved it. Tiger crushed in Ohio. FedEx pulled the wrong tournament.

  19. the real winner is the players here. PIF just bought a seat at the table. PGA keeps their structure and 501(c)(6)- PIF was losing money with LIV and want financial gain that they weren't getting. They knew they had to bend the knee and end the lawsuit. The players that stayed will be compensated. That's the only way they will be happy and get off Jay's back. I bet LIV will only exist in a non compete fall season around the world and not in the USA. I think Jay survives. The big Players will get some kind of recourse and be appeased for missing out on deal. Jay will survive short term & GREG is a gonner! Bye bye greg.

  20. So what's the parameters for a tournament now? How do records stand up and I mean against the best there HAS been? Seems to me any tournaments not 72 holes cannot be somehow prorated to that measure.

  21. How can you demand a pound of flesh from defecting players involved in the lawsuit when the PGA TOUR has partnered with the leaders of the lawsuit? Doesn’t make sense.

  22. Jay Monahan and the PGA had no clue what they could be up to on the lawsuit … unfortunately in the end the court wanted the PGA (Jay Monahan) to open their books but Jay M. refused …. that decision was a catastrophic error a blunder of EPIC proportion …. as such the PGA and JM was Checkmate. Jay lied to the PGA players …. he told them "don't take the $ dont go to LIV …. in the end he did the exact opposite … Jay took the deal (only who knows how much $ he is going to get from this deal ) and sold the PGA….. talk about Hypocrisy that is Jay Monahan….

Choker Rory McIlroy nowhere to be found … he and Cry baby Billy Horcshel are at Hooters with Greg begging to get a deal …. unfortunately there is lol nothing left for them except a job at the cleaners. Good for them what goes around comes around.

  23. The Saudi's have purchased the game of golf, their desire to whitewash their human rights offenses in nearly complete thanks to the PGA. As a casual fan, I am alienated and will no longer follow the Tour.

  24. For a few years now I've stopped watching professional golf outside the occasional Sunday of a Major. Now I'm all the way gone.
But alas I am a hypocrite, I watch Formula 1. At least with F1 DVR lets you skip commercials and watch from lights out to checkered flag, and then turn it off. 90 minutes or so.

  25. So, it sounds like LIV and the PGA Tour will continue to exist mutually exclusive of each other. There has been no talk that LIV Players will return to the PGA Tour or that guys can drift back and forth between the two. Zero talk about where Greg Norman lands in this deal.

  26. there was a day the pga pulled a big event from one of trumps resorts and sent it to f'n mexico because they disageed with his politics. can't wait till the real reason j caved comes out and the pga house of cards falls down

  27. Rich butchers Saudi Arabia have squeezed their butcher knives into American golf sport to stain it with stains of innocent American blood from 9/11 deaths while Trumps jared walked with 3 billion saudi money in a brief case for a great treasonus job while at the White house reign. What American greed benefited in placing bombs at the twin towers for saudi arabia butchers? They now have their higher towers to boost their riches. Just like billionaire Nazi Crow buying a Supreme court judge Thomas diapers. What enemy country is founding nazi monies to an American Supreme Court Judge Thomas luxuries. Yes seems russian/north Korea trump will benefit from liv like Crow benefits from Thomas. Fascism is a rich greedy American traitor puppets working from America's enemy dictator lines. Understanding why 9/11 victims are yelling bloody murder for justice & abortionist cry foal play.

  28. I know one group that has integrity and that is the Golf Channel. I personally got Rush Limbaugh throw off the golf channel. I'm sure you all remember when Rush was on with Hank Haney.. Rush had mocked Connie Chung with a broken English accent mocking Chinese people. I wrote 17 letters to the Golf Channel including all the on air personalities(Brandel and Rich were included) that someone of his character and racism should not be promoted.

I figured it fell on deaf ears. A couple of months later I saw my caller ID light up with the "golf Channel". The person then said to me that they got my letters and decided that Rush would never be on the Golf Channel again.

When the reruns came on Rush was not included.

  29. so are we going to pretend that the U.S. dollar is not propped up by a deal with Saudi in the first place?

  30. If the guys chose not to join liv then they missed out why should they get anything with that regard. crazy

  31. How can these two guys sit her and talk about the defecting players being penalized, having the pay back the LIV bonuses, when they are also saying the PGA was in a desperate financial situation. The PIF is now in control (they are the money). The PIF will most likely tell Tom, that the defecting players are untouchable. Those players helped the PIF get what they want, why would they sit back and let the PGA attack and penalize the players that helped them? Not gonna happen.

  32. It's naive to think the U.S. is any better. The U.S. bullies the world and if you don't comply they kill you. Proxy wars, coup d'etat's, state sponsored assassinations, sanctions that starve children, bombing countries with depleted uranium. No one comes close to the evil dished out by the U.S. . The U.S. was supplying the Saudi's with weapons to commit a genocide in Yemen. Recently the U.S. President went to Saudi Arabia, dropped his pants, grabbed his ankles and begged for more oil. By the way, an entire race of people were exterminated so you guys can sit in your man caves and act holier than thou.

  33. I don’t get why there’s all this animosity for the players that went to LIV golf. In every other sport, players go for the team/league that will pay them the most money. All those that say they betrayed or brought shame to the game of golf are living in some other reality. I’ve never heard of any PGA golfer refusing to take money from sponsors or for a poor finish in a tournament. Rory made a comment in his press conference that he hopes that the players that went to LIV golf pay some kind of penalty and noticed how quickly he responded about not getting an offer from LIV, Sour grapes I say. I enjoy watching PGA and LIV events, both tours offer exciting and fun to watch events and in the end that’s all that counts for us spectators. The press likes to create controversy because that’s what they do, don’t take sides just watch what you like.

  34. You expect these players will pay back money and accept fines? What is this socialism? Have you not learnt from what just happened? The PGA tour appears to have loss and Rory and his whiners will have to live in the bed they made. Oh, they said that right.
