    I'd hate to come across as a tinfoil hat guy, but doesn't this all seem a little bit convenient? If you wanted to sell off part of the PGA Tour to the Saudis, what's a better way than to start a rival tour, create the hype, pin the players against each other, and then act as though there is no other choice but to merge the leagues together? Idk I'm an idiot but I could be right.

    First the PGA tour decided to follow Liv golf, by having 10 tournaments, where you don't have to make a cut and every player makes money, but no, that wasn't enough, why not just change the name from the PGA tour to the Saudis your, shame on u PGA😅

    When I saw that LIV golf was being shown on broadcast TV I figured they were not going away and both sides figured a merger was cheaper.

    PGA was the mafia of this sport and spoke big and disrespectful when competition and better player benefits came In. They controlled and for a long time alienated many golfers and countries around the world. Liv gave that opportunity.

    Now with egg on their face as viewership and the money dried up moniyahan to save face fostered a deal. Disappointed in Liv and dp. They have the funds and was creating a base only a yr into it. Now you got bullied and paying for it by adding more funds. Never trust those that lived to bring you into disrepute.
    Golf has become a joke and pga did that. By simply being a dictator and when that didn't work out they went to typical western politics of fabricating stories to shame…like sportwashing. You destroyed the image of a game I love so much by playing politics. People watch sports to get away from politics.

    I always disagreed with all the players who backed the PGA as if it was incredibly patriotic to do so and denying themselves the money they deserved…..but this is just next level backstabbing, and while part of me feel like this is justice for those arrogant players for sticking by a greedy corporate animal, I can’t help but just feel terrible for them for their misplaced faith.

    I know a lot of golfers are kicking themselves for not accepting the LIV golf deal if it was offered to them, especially if they weren't Tiger Woods or Rory Mcelroy with enough endorsement deals to rival the package presented.

    Now a lot of those new rookie golfers will wonder if they missed something and that might actually breed resentment.

    Shucks.

    Integrity and morality in the game of golf died Tuesday June 6 killed by the usual suspects. Money. Greed. And Betrayal. Survivers include all the PGA players who decided on principle to stay. Also all the 9/11 families who blame Saudi Arabia for the loss of their loved ones. Funeral services to be announced.

    Pga is shady anyway now they just sold what little soul they had left. They all need to pay taxes! I am sad I will not watch golf anymore. Saudis are brutal murderers. Not only did they play a role in 9/11, killing over 3000 Americans. They also killed American reporter Jamal Khashoggi. All sports leagues need to watch who they do business with. Fox is in the hen house.
