Astros smash Blue Jays early with help from bottom of lineup

The Astros could only manage one run on Sunday versus the Angels in the getaway game to close the homestand. The bats broke out with six runs in the first inning to knock out Alex Monaoh and continued the onslaught throughout the game. Corey Julks added a grand slam, and Jake Meyers and Yainer Diaz had four-hit games. Brandon Bielak did just enough, long enough to get the quality start.

  1. We seen king tuck’s court over in right field at MMP,but sooner or later we are going to see the julkamanics all over MMP going wild!

  2. The crossing guard (beilak and not meant in a bad way.) has stuff that plays, just need to give him run support.

  3. McCormick went hitless but he only had 2 at bats. He was hit by a pitch in one of those at bats. All the starters got hits.

  4. Go search the view of yordans dinger from flight deck by Jays fan. It’s on bleacher report. That thing was still moving. I think Yordan getting cheated on distance.

  5. The Astros have three grand slams in three consecutive series:

Altuve hit a GS against the Twins
    Bregman against the Angels
    Julks against the Blue Jays

Didn’t hit one against the A's, surprisingly. However, Yordan Alvarez hit one against the Brewers.

  6. 1.000 expected batting average? Haha, I like that. I wonder how they calculated it? I believe the centerfield of the old Tiger Stadium in Detroit was 440 ft, I don't think I've seen any ball hit out of there. Yordan's hit would probably be the first one if ithe ballpark still existed.
