Gyllenhaal is a fine actor and I respect his obvious dedication to trying to portray this character, but I feel like there is literally 100 other people that would have been better suited for this role. There is nothing about that face that says fighter.
It's like watching two guys who couldnt fight their way out of a wet paper bag, try to convince people they are champions lmao. I really think Jake is the equivalent of cm punk, and jet jizzway is Mike Jackson. This really gave of that kind of energy.

The opening cage scene – disregarding the ref and thrashing his opponent like a rabid animal. UFC should have told Gyllenhaal and Hollywierd to get lost….but then UFC also capitalizes on this kind of trash culture. When will someone make a legit movie about the true warrior spirit of genuine champions – based on discipline, respect, honor and living right.
