The first major wave of 2023 NFL roster cuts took place leading up to the opening of free
agency. The draft is over and training camp is coming right up, meaning the next busy period of
roster cuts is just around the corner.
With the draft now behind us, we have a good idea as to which players are in real danger of
losing their roster spots.
Before we start here, just a note that contract numbers and details are courtesy of
OvertheCap.com. With that said, let’s dive into the 10 biggest NFL names who are in danger of
getting cut.

The only Malik Willis stays on roster is if Tannehill gets injured before final cuts and they decide to roll with him as the backup. More likely they still cut him anyway and sign some other FA QB

Thank you for mentioning Willis as a potential cut candidate over Tannehill. Even for the latter's non-elite play, he's still the best option on the roster and would allow some room for Will Levis to breathe rather than hoping the former can pass for even 100 yards in a 60 minute start.
The Jets have had a lot of really bad 1st round picks over the last 10 or 12 years Mekhi Becton Zach Wilson Dee Milliner Quinton Coples Calvin Pryor just to name a few
The chiefs should cut Patrick Mahomes it would save them lots of cap space
After what happened to the 49ers in the playoffs last season, the Titans would be wise to keep Willis on their roster for now as the 49ers showed, a team can never really have too many QBs on their roster.

Bad take on Bourne, plus not once I’ve heard anyone on the Patriots to hbe anything bad to say about him. Fans love him too and the biggest reason for him underperforming was Matt P as OC and not getting along with Bourne.

To be fair to Bourne, we didn't play him enough last year because of the idiocy of Matt Patricia. When he did play he was amazing.
Here's a thought: the Titans cut Malik Willis- Seattle picks him up and he becomes Geno Smith's understudy. I think Willis could learn a lot about the Pro game by watching Smith- since they have similar skill sets.
