TaylorMade jet speed and Calaway Alpha 816 double black diamond.
I am a firm believer that the driver head size is limiting swing speeds more than anything right now… i think i bring it up a lot, but they have so much air resistance. I think the old ball speed record before this past yr was done by a 3 wood(thats what i heard anyways). Why not try a mini driver cranked down.. i know the loft isn't ideal, but if you pair it with a 1k orange 50g thats low launch it helps.

I am a long time follower… I own this gen 5 7.5 degree driver and can attest to how low the spin goes… I went to get custom fitted after just buying it online and wound up buying the weight kit. Is it possible you could do a review playing around with different weights in the driver head just to show what the spin rate does? Would be an interesting video

I have this exact driver. I use the smoke black 60 at 46 and the smoke yellow 70 at 45. It's a straight up knuckle ball launcher. It replaced my Mavrik SZ which wasn't an easy thing to do. I can't wait to get the GEN 6 7.5! Love the videos and your channel.
One aspect of driver distance I never see anyone experiment with is tee height. Say you are really close to the numbers you want, perhaps a very minor adjustment on tee height can get you to a more precise number.

Well, that’s the rub now ain’t it, cause if you ain’t buying new, you have little to no chance of finding it.
Try the Wilson dynapower. The thing is the best driver of 2023 without doubt and I have hit them all.
I wish I knew what I do with my driver because I don't hit far but my backspin sits around 7-800. The last time I tested this was with the Stealth.
My best distance was with the TM Burner 9.5.
Currently I am using the M2, green version, and it serves me well. Set @ 11.5 as I fail at hitting the ball up in the air.
Im new to golf and am hooked instantly. I dont have the budget for brand new clubs and dont wsnt to compromise on a paxkage set. Im trying to lesrn enough about golf, along with trial and error to see if i can 'custom fit' myself woth 2nd hand clubs primarily. Will keep watching, also any advice always welcome 😁
Hi Simon distance would be extremely easy in a studio, I went on the range today windy cold so this would have an impact on anyone's distance, I brought a 2020 cobra KING SZ-S 9° great driver, normally hit 235 on average, but today just managed 200. So it's hard to work out your averages outside in different conditions.
Love my Gen5 too. Think there are longer drivers but it’s really forgiving with he adjustable weights. Hazardous Black 70 6.0 in mine (I think)

I love PXG clubs. I game the Gen4 driver (which i paid about 200 USD for 5mo ago) and for a non-max MOI head (it's the "X" not the XF), it's extremely forgiving.
