The Saudis wisely backed down. Now they will partner with the PGA instead of trying to put it out of business. Had they not gone with Greg Norman (and his grinding axe) in the first place they would have not been dragged through the mud. Still, this seems conciliatory to me on the part of the Saudis, which I like. As for the players, my goodness, they should be seeing the handwriting on the wall, its time to unionize and press their own interests as "partners" with these rich folks.

I hope he's right and the golf takes precedent. But if Saudi human rights come up, please reporters bring up the hypocrisy of hating the Saudis and loving the RBC. They sponsor two PGA Tour events. No one ever remembers that the RBC was instrumental in bringing Aramco to the stock market. It was the RBC that help facilitate that entity into the stock market. Aramco is the Saudi Royal Families' business. Just saying…
