  1. As a Toronto resident, we know he’s not resigning. Americans don’t want to play in Canada anymore especially with the lockdowns and vax mandates

  2. As A Blackhawks Fan I don’t Want Austin Matthew He’s Not Good No More Plus He’s Getting Old

  3. If Matthews goes to Chicago after they just got Bedard, I will start punching stuff.
Edit: Still salty about the lottery. (I'm about to get roasted aren't I.)

  4. That’s just gross that Chicago could do that. I mean…I could see it happening, but I pray to God it doesn’t because the Blackhawks just don’t deserve it.

  5. Betting websites have WAY more insight than fans! 😂😂😂 They don't just make up random odds 🤦‍♂️

  6. My question is, if this trade was to actually go down, who would the hawks give up to put Matthews alongside Bedard? It’s not like they are flooded with elite prospects to swap, (pre 2023 draft) and I doubt they’d do a 1 for 1. I think he’d prefer LA a lot more and they have tons of pieces they could ship out. That’s just me tho

  7. As Hawks fan and a well established GM in the realm of EA sports. I don’t see this happening. If he doesn’t sign extension this summer that’s when there’s smoke. But coming to Chicago, possible not probable.

  8. One, yes it's just an article. But two, betting sites usually are really good at predicting things. That's why they do this. Having said that, I don't see Matthews getting traded to Chicago without Bedard going the opposite direction which defeats the whole purpose of Matthews going to Chicago. The only scenarios that I can see are a) Toronto and Matthews don't reach a deal and also they can't find a trade (which is very unlikely, someone will offer something to Toronto that they would accept) and Matthews enters FA and through that comes to Chicago or b) Toronto actually takes shitty deal from Chicago (again super unlikely since someone will offer better than Chicago can/would offer).

  9. I don't want his large salary cap and the way of the future is big defensemen that can skate. Good defensemen don't come cheap either and Cap money is like gold

  10. The Hawks aren't trading for Matthews. If Matthews wants to move onto the Hawks in 2024 as a UFA, the Hawks definitely have interest if the price is right. Who wouldn't?

  11. Dude you’re such a click bait. You post videos based on garbage rumors that have no basis.
