THE MOST FUN COURSE IN OREGON!!! (Horning’s Hideout)

I had the opportunity to play a private course west of Portland Oregon called horning’s hideout! It was a very fun day, starting on the short ace run course and finishing on the canyon course. Thanks to Trevon and Elli for tagging along!

  1. I was playing the Meadows course while you filmed this. Was cool finishing my round and seeing your van parked next to me. Hope you rip up the final round of PDXO!

  2. I love to camp out there and play the short course barefoot and with 2 or 3 discs. Magical place

  3. Tailor is a sweet straight flyer… but not as comfortable as a Mind Bender to me. Keep improving Casey!

  4. Those baskets are why I fell in love with disc golf. A friend was showing me disc golf and I hit the bucket off the tee on hole 12. The resounding clunk is the sound I remember in my head for Disc golf (even more than chains).

  5. Fun times!
Yeah, I’ve noticed you’ve been playing better as of late. Go get ‘em!

  6. YES!!! I’ve been playing Horning’s Hideout for over 15 years, it’s my happy place. Thanks for bringing us some content from one of the coolest disc golf courses around.

  7. Meadows ridge is my favorite course there. They are all fun to glad you had a chance to play it.

  8. That Memorial on Hole 1 is of a local who had well over 150 Aces on thr Highlands course. He threw Rhyno's mostly with some Roc's and Vikings. Super amazing person who helped me discover disc golf. 2 years ago he died of cancer 😢 Love that you gave him a shout out in your video.

  9. Great to see you at the PDXO! Thanks for signing my FD. Glad to see the reception for the course I grew up on.

  10. I grew up going to String Cheese and String Summit hippy festivals out there at Hornings, many good times partying in those woods. very different seeing it so empty! Have not made it to play yet but its top of my list. Legendary place on so many levels, I believe Bob Horning designed those baskets back in the 90's and as you can see the baskets are old rims from big trucks. A testament to where this sport came from not so long ago.
