The problem with GB is they're a small community team. Only thing GB has is the Packers. So, when things happen they bleed Green and Gold!
Scenerio… you are a top notch sales person for a company. You put in for PTO, go on vacation for a week. On day 6 of ypur vacation you find out via the news, they decided to move on with a 3rd party firm. Then used the excuse… oh. We tried contacting him while he was on vacation! Gutey is a JOKE!
Remember… "it's always fine with Dan Devine!". Go look it up. They ran him out of town. If Love sucks GB will do the same to both Murphy and Gutey. Murphy has to retire in 2025 ( age 70).

There blame on both sides and there is truth on both sides. Lets move on.
Life time Packers fan. Loved 12 playing for the Pack. But his stories seem to keep not adding up. He says Gute's line of communication changed before and after the darkness yet he said he wasn't having contact with them before the darkness. He said he only asks for transparency yet he couldn't give the Packers any update on how he is feeling during the beginning of the off season. At the end of the day it is what it is. On to Jordan Love. Hopefully he is a guy.

I’ll speak for MOST packer fans, as someone that lives a mile from the stadium, attends most games, know a lot of team staff, we don’t care if Aaron wanted to leave or was forced to leave or whatever the narrative was. He wasn’t producing. Period. He’s lost 4 straight nfc championships that he’s been to. Mahomes has so much more playoff success and he’s been a starter for what 5 years? There’s all these excuses for rodgers but he just hasn’t produced in the playoffs. The big argument was defense but their last two playoff games (both at home) they Intercepted Brady 3 times in the second half, rodgers put up 0 points off it. And held SF to 13 and rodgers was able to score 10. He’s a joke come postseason. He quits on the team and whether this show wants to dick ride him or not, he just wasn’t good enough. We wanted him gone

Actually read the article, rodgers makes claims that contradict things that he has said on this very program. He says things about the adams contract negotiation that go against what adams himself said after signing with the raiders. Rodgers is an all time great player, he clearly also will bend the truth around itself to sling mud at people he perserves to have mistreated him.
Really enjoyed the show when it was independent, authentic, and felt relatively aimless at times. Sorry to hear you’re join ESPN but congrats on the money. ESPN is a parasite regardless of whether people will admit it or not. Take care, Pat and the Boys
Dislike for the misleading title. Don't go this route. You built what you built by being different from the rest of the trash. Don't sell out the people who helped you get to where you are.
Tuesday with Aaron were better with Jason Wilde because Wilde wouldn’t just be the PR man for Aaron.
That's the thing about ultimatums, those who think they have the leverage to give one, frequently are proven wrong. The Packers should have paid Adams before the end of the 2021 season regardless of what Rodger's situation was. Then trade Rodgers prior to the 2022 draft. Since the arrival of Ron Wolf at the end of the 1991 season, the GMs (other than Sherman) have all been Wolf disciples. The Wolf "way" was to have an organized plan and stick with it. Pay your own stars first and the player doesn't call the shots. I wanted Elliott Wolf as GM but Murphy picked the right guy

Unlike Rodgers who only publicly contemplated retirement for like maybe two years (everything else before that was sports media speculation) and he had said in past he'd play into his forties (though not 45), Favre was very hemming and hawing for several years. And then actually did announce retirement. And that was a time when it was unthought of that a player would play to 40, unless maybe they were a kicker.
The whole 'his own locker room' thing kinda seemed egotistical. No matter if some others in the league have it too.
With Rodgers and the management, it seems a classic example of "we're the boss. We're in charge. We don't want or need communication with you. Except one way communication from us, to you."
Seems like, ya know, the real dick stuff that makes you say to yourself….man, how did we as a society

Gute's ego had been writing checks his ability can't cash for years. You DON'T walk away from a HOF QB that has said he wants to retire a Packer. Guts NEVER got him weapons that would have put GB over the top. Final point when you let a HOF wide receiver, a HOF QB go for practically nothing and because you mismanaged both situations you should never work in the league again
