The Braves would give free tickets to kids who got straight A’s in elementary school. Even though I never went to the game (maybe I did once) because we were 3 hours away and my dad didn’t like sports, I would still treasure receiving those tickets. I guarantee it helped push me to do my best in school. I used to watch every game on TBS until my 9:00 bedtime and practice pitching into our round chair across the room. Even through all the tough years and empty stadiums. Through the glorious years of Glavine, Maddox, Smoltz, and company. This team means more to me than they will ever know. Thanks for bringing us another Championship. Win it again! Go Braves!
