Buster Douglas – Is an American former professional boxer who competed between 1981 and 1999. He reigned as undisputed world heavyweight champion in 1990 after knocking out Mike Tyson to win the title. His win over Tyson is regarded as the biggest upset in boxing history. Douglas was a 42-to-1 underdog going into his 1990 fight against Tyson, who was undefeated and considered to be the best boxer in the world for his domination of the division over the previous three years. Defying expectations, Douglas would knock out Tyson in the 10th round to claim the WBC, WBA, and IBF titles.

    Say what you will about Buster Douglas' up and down career but the one thing that remained consistent throughout was his fast, snappy jab. Very few fighters in history have been able to knock their opponents down with just the jab alone and Buster was one of them. An excellent fighter at his best who pulled off the biggest upset of them all!     A talented fighter that on one night was "All Time Great" good. His fight with Tyson is still my favourite HW fight of all time, Douglas was simply perfect on that night.

    Man, Buster Douglas could jab and I wonder what happen if Douglas fought in a jabfest with Larry Holmes, George Foreman, Lennox Lewis, Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko and Riddick Bowe? This would have been a good fight between Douglas and the 6 I mentioned.

    Douglas’ individual attributes are often overshadowed by the Tyson win, but his jab really was great. No telegraphing of it at all, it looks fluid and piston like at the same time.

    Buster douglas could lead and counter with the jab effectively. Very few could do that. In his era he had the best jab, this was before lennox lewis and wladimir Klitschko.

    Niceee glad to see a video on Buster Douglas, he was physically gifted, excellent jab, fast hands, great footwork, and very athletic at 6'4 234Ibs. A motivated Buster Douglas was a dangerous fighter, he reminded me so much of Larry Holmes but more athletic, definitely a great boxer whom at his best can give even the greatest of heavyweights trouble. Luv this channel always give all fighters their flowers and always manages to pick the perfect music that's fitting for them.

    I was an 11 year old Mike Tyson worshipper and was in complete denial of his loss to Douglas. Buying into every excuse given. As an adult, it’s clear that he was outboxed thoroughly and got his a-s-s beaten.

    Now I see what happened. He never allowed Mike Tyson to come inside and put some bombs. Lightning fast jabs kept Mike at bay, he must be frustrated but can't do anything to let his bad intentions out.
