Early in the PGA Championship at Oak Hill Country Club on Thursday, American golfer Eric Cole surged ahead, taking the lead with an exceptional performance. The tournament had experienced a delay of one hour and 50 minutes due to frost in Rochester, New York. Currently standing at five-under par, Cole holds a slim one-stroke advantage over his fellow countryman Bryson DeChambeau, who impressively shot a four-under 66 to briefly take the lead.
