Conspiracy theory, or the script for this year. Knights let the stars have game 4,5 just to have Jamie Benn come back and get housed on his own ice. Ouch.
Wait, wait…. they can only be nominated to be in the hall of fame if they’ve been on a team that’s won the Cup? That’s stupid. That relies entirely on team effort, not what an individual brings to the sport.
To be fair, sweeps usually feel like there was one team that dominated the other. This is the first time I've ever watched a sweep and have no notes for the losing team. Carolina played amazingly. Now that ties are gone, this is one of the few times I would ever say that a team didn't lose, they just didn't win.
Correction… The stars were able to force game 5 and 6… Because of Jamie Benn's suspension… 😅 They played so much better without him… 🤷

The panthers are the most dramatic team of our generation. They can't just win a single game normally by a few goals by the end of the game. No no. They have to win every game in 4x OT or seconds left in the period. JUST BE NORMAL, HOLY **
I hate Benns shenanigans, and I feel he should be suspended for a season for his BS. But as a CO fan of Dallas while we're out, watching the game 4 and game 5 stars was an absolute pleasure

The play by play/commentators didn't even react or point out how fugging amazing the Robertson goal was. Tapped out of mid air on the backhand straight over to the forehand then hit out of mid air and into the net. LIKE Whaaaaat. Forget the athleticism, how about just having the presence of mind to think of doing that in a split second. That's probably one of the coolest goals I've ever seen. All they say is that he batted it out of the air, like it just popped up and he hit it in. Maybe they didn't see the tap over to his forehand, but what about the replay???

I'm proud of my Hurricanes. Facing the adversity that we did we made it to the ECF. During that ECF we hit the crossbar or the posts a total of 19 times…All I can say is it just wasn't in the cards. There is a subtle difference though. A few millimeters here and there and we are the ones with the sweep….don't ever forget that. The good thing is….we will be back. % straight years the Hurricanes are playing relevant hockey in April and May. Should be a odds on favorite next season. Thanks for a wonderful year STeve. at about 3 minutes you talk about Bennett lifiting Anderson's stick. Did YOU see what happened a micro second before that? Anderson POKED Bennett's stick. My own impression was Bennett was just giving Anderson a little 'tit for tat". Take another look. REALLY.

What happened to the not calling penalties in the final minutes of a crucial game unless it is an egregious one? Why give the Panthers a power play with less than a minute left in the game? This was a pure and simple gift by the refs. Florida was going to win this series no doubt but that just made it look so shady. Hope Vegas stomps them in the Final. (Not a Canes or Vegas fan by the way)

Panthers are amazing… they "down shifted" on game 5 of that Bruins Series. Argument is B's should have "tandem" their tenders on Game 5, but let's not take anything away from Panthers. They have NOT stopped that "down shift" since game 5. They are a WRECKING CREW since then! (coming from a B's fan)
