    What happens if your opponent's ball is in the hole cup and you putt on the green and hole out? I think that you shouldn't retake the stroke again, but do you incur 2 stroke penalties or no penalty? Does it matter to determine the penalty if you knew or not that the ball was in the hole cup before making your putting stroke?

  3. Help: Two-person teams are playing against each other in a Match Play format. (Player A from one team is playing Player C from that other team and Player B is playing Player D from their other team…Players A and B are on the same team and the four players are in the same foursome.) All players are on the green. Player A putts and his ball hits the ball of Player B (his teammate). Is there a penalty? If so, what is it? Would it matter if Player A's ball hit the ball of Player C or Player D?
