Collin Morikawa Goes 7/7 Guessing Which Ball He’s Hitting | TaylorMade Golf

Team TaylorMade’s Collin Morikawa’s world-class feel is put to the test at the Memorial Tournament. We had him blindly hit seven wedge shots and he had to tell us which ball model he was hitting between the TP5x and his gamer TP5. He even started throwing incredible zip on his wedge shots too. #Shorts

  1. If the markings are covered, how do we know that he actually guessed these correctly?

  2. This is easy to do with 2. Use 50 balls of different brand and makeup and see how players do.

  3. I'm guessing on a Taylomade channel, it's not going to be the Titleist ProV1. As much as I'm not a fan of Titleist (maybe their irons) and I'm not really a fan of the last 20 years of Taylormade marketing over substance. The ProV1 is still the best ball in golf and Taylormade has made decent improvements only on the last 2 years. The Stealth 2 is almost as well done, as my Ping G425. (not G430) Scotty Cameron this snd that. Volky wow. I can guess which ones an X and a non X and I'm far from his holf skill. Marketing. Ball week me. Something looks Hinky with those ball cut spins on the green.

  4. Just goes to show you that the average golfer doesn’t need a fancy ball lol. I usually score high 80’s low 90’s and every ball other than a top flite or nitro feels the same to me

  5. It's actually quite easy to tell between a tp5 or a tp5x. same as a prov1 and prov1x. The x versions feel much much firmer off the face.
