The best feeling in the world to have clubs that you feel confident with.
Awesome to watch. I hit my 3 wood pretty well but struggle with the driver. I haven't hit with it in a while but saw someone shorten the driver shaft by 1 inch to get more consistent strikes. Have you heard of someone doing this?
I am sure Steve is very happy that he got a custom fit, as it shows in his swing and striking the ball in the center of the club, if people would just learn that the money, they waste by buying off the rack, as they adopt their swing to the club and not vice versa. I can see money going into Steve's pocket once he sorts out his distance with the clubs.

His leading arm never gets above parallel to the ground restricting his turn, so he adds loads of wrist hinge to assist getting the head of the club further. Then needs lots of hip turn in the down swing to get the face square…

Steve has an amazing follow through, finish and balance. The clubs are the perfect fit, the 15 looks like it will be moving down!
This video series really makes the case for getting properly fit. Most fitting videos on YouTube are done at the club manufacturers’ facilities. Thoughts on competence/value at getting fit by third parties? Worth a vid? Btw, if I haven’t given kudos for the production and videography by you and Hannah, please accept them now. Between your screen persona, the videography and content, the channel is shooting well below par!
Great video. I picked up a Paradym driver after getting back into golf after 15 years. I played a few rounds with my old Taylor Made and had my usual few good drives bust mostly a monster slice. Using the Paradym, I'm no longer aiming left of the fairway as most of my drives are straight and if they aren't, it's a controlled fade. I figure my improvement is the forgiveness of the larger club head and, most important, a confidence hitting the Callaway driver.
Shows that custom fitting was worthwhile. I did notice that he grips down the club, especially on the first or second 5 wood shot but it takes nothing away from the result.
Why does he choke down so much on most of clubs? Beautiful set and he is hitting them well.
Might I ask why the gentleman chooses to choke down on the grip on every shot ? Would that choice affect a custom fitting ?

It was interesting to see that Steve was gripping down quite a long way on the grips, it would be interesting to know whether that was a "feel" thing or that he is finding that the shafts are a little on the long side??
PS I still think that a series of lessons with Coach Lou would make for a great watch

To be fair most club manufactures make something in their range that will suit most golfers. Fitting does make a difference as I picked up yardage I had lost with a different shaft and slightly stronger lofts. The mizuno swing analysis tool is a great bit of kit to start a fitting with.

Replacing some very old clubs to new should make a big difference. It is recommended to upgrade your irons every 5 years just because the technology and materials used are so different. Getting fitted over buying off the rack can help, too.

I'd love to see what his handicap does in say mths with these clubs. The swing looked silky smooth, not rushed or forced. This video shows what a fitting could do for you. I also wonder what the clubs' price and the fitting cost.

I was 22 HCP (weak swing & visual disability) and down to 18-19 since going full Paradym & hit my best score of 81 on a long par 72 a few weeks ago – great clubs
