No question he deserves to be getting paid for this skill set. Hes an impact pitcher no matter what they use him as, i expect to see him when they need outs and solid innings. Lets not sleep on his battery mate, after 1st pitch he was sticking it, making pitches look like strikes longer, he could steal a few strikes a game for sure

I love these videos because they show how important it is for catchers to have chemistry with their pitchers.
Unless you’re elite, just stepping in and catching a random dude throwing 90+ is HARD.
