In this video I Unbox the Idio Sports Syncrasy Disc Golf Shoes, and talk about my early impressions of them based on my first ten or so rounds using them. Idio has designed these shoes from the ground up for Disc Golf, and as a long time gear tester in the Disc Golf community I thought it was important for me to test them. Stay tuned for an updated video about these shoes once I am able to test them more long term. But so far, I enjoy them. They fit my wide feet very well and they are solid on the teepad for me.

Good review idea Nerd! I go back and forth between my Addidas Terrex and my Idios. I wore Terrex for a year and Idios since October. Idios are pretty good. They definitely benefit from insoles. They grip cement, but man are they slick in grass. I think they're good for woods golf because the soles are soft. But I love my Terrex for grass. I buy them on sale for about $100.
A light waterproof shoe sounds great! I have the same issue with needing wider toes in shoes. Are the soles made from a non slip rubber, like the terrexes? My Merrells have vibram soles that have great traction on wet concrete.
what im worried about is the seams. All of my shoes bust at the seams without fail even my merrells
Was that a link Neal dyed yellow disc??
These are GARBAGE! I waited 15 months for a pair and after 4 months their “drag on” toe has completely separated from the rest of the shoe.
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!
Nice video. I like the Moab by Merrill
I love my Altra Lone Peak's for disc golf. Comfy, lots of wide toe space and amazing traction.
I've bought converse and a few other brands off the net, no problem, but no more. Now I gotta try em before I buy em. Im a size 10, and I ordered size 10's from idio, and they are way…way too small. So I tried to sell them on ebay, FB, and a few other sites, and no interest at all. Even Half price…no takers. So…they sit in the box, brand new, never worn, and $126.00 shot in the a**.
I liked the comfort of the Idio, but had issues with the glue coming apart near the toebox after only 11 rounds. Really like the idea of disc golf purposed shoes, so I hope they keep developing new products with better quality. For now though I'm sticking with ole reliable Merrell Nova 2's. Disc Golf Nerd: try the Nova 2's…..they feel like wide width shoes and have plenty of room for my big feet.
Are the insoles removable? Thanks for the video
Soles wore out in a month. What a waste of $150.
