  1. I just purchased the VLS Max driver and 22 deg hybrid. I love them! Still working on my driver swing, but overall very happy! Would love a private lesson with you!

  2. Hi Coach 👋 thanks for this wonderful video.

Yessssssss it's one of my most faired shots in the past.

I have developed my own way to do it with 2 clubs only, my PW to hit between 50 to 80 yards and my 9 iron to hit between 80+ to 100 to 105.

I use to use my 52 but I can't control it and a lot of times it would up like the Space Shuttle.

Yesterday I played at Sharjah (27 holes), it's a difficult course, I did that shot 3 times and it worked with my PW/9 I.

One thing I need to learn is how to get a good amount of spin to stop the ball ASAP. Most times the ball rolls a lot.

Still my driver is not as consistent as I need it to be, sometimes my 4 iron or 5W is better.

Tomorrow I'm playing golf at The Montgomery Dubai, it's a longggggggg course but I'll be playing the forward men's tees (green).

  3. Hi Todd! I really enjoy your videos. With this one, if I took a swing like you do in this video with my PW the ball would only travel about 25 or 30 yards. I live in Sylvania OH outside of Toledo.

  4. Always the best videos and instructions on the Tube I’m playing this afternoon and heading to the range to warm up I will practice this wedge shot now I have 3 wedges in my bag Sand Pitching and Gap so I assume I should be using the Gap over the Sand and Pitching wedges I’ve in the past used the pitching from 40 yards out , am I wrong?

  5. Todd, to me, you started with a 70/30 weight distribution at set up. You stil transfered weight to your right side during the swing. I was taught no weight transfer, especially on a shot that short in distance.

  6. 75 year old experienced golfer here in Muskogee, OK. Are you choking down on your wedge in this video? Play most of my golf in the winter in McAllen/Mission, TX in the Rio Grande Valley.

  7. Excellent tutorial. These short approach shots and putting is critical to shaving strokes off your handicap. You might crush it off the tee, but without these skills you will never become a low handicapper.

  8. Albertan, 64 lady! I find that at this distance, I come up short. I use my pitching wedge from between 50-80 yrds.

  9. Hey Todd, great lessons. I"m from Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. Question: what do you think is best way to start the driver down swing to generate an inside out path? Is it a hip bump or hands/arms dropping down followed by turning/clearing hips? Thanks.

  10. Todd! I really like the 9 to 3 swing with a triangular upper body and lower body connection! I'll have to remember "weight forward" which doesn't always happen!

  11. Todd I’m 71 I use my pw for all my pitches and chips can’t practice enough with three different clubs thanks for tips in SC

  12. Jaret from Manitoba here 🇨🇦 Rick Shiels is hosting a YouTube golf Masters tourney. Go for it Todd!
The idea of the blue stacker on top is really helping me not roll the club. Great tip ⛳️

  13. My problem is that even with the ball in the middle of my stance when I move more weight to my left foot my head gets infront of the ball and I'll hit it fat. When I watch your video, your head stays centered and over the ball. That might be the adjustment that I need to make. Thanks

  14. I would like to know what weight shaft is best for 76 year young golfer? 11 handicap in Georgetown TX

  15. Good lesson! I actually will play 9 from 50-70 out (can shoot scratch or close, par 27), last couple of regular rounds I shanked a couple, I'm going to remember this tip!
