The ref next Barnes was totally shocked, didn’t know what happened and why it happened
Even the ref that was right next to Barnes was looking around like "what happened?"…it's stuff like this why since about 2012/2013 I started to care less about sports..to many questionable things(this call, lights going out in Superbowl games at the perfect time etc etc) happening..sports are definitely not straight up..this is why Vegas is involved HEAVY these days.. don't forget the fantasy sports that play their role..it's all a Broadway play

Scott Foster is a joke. Adam Silver should look into this as Foster is ruining the game. Referees should not decide the game for no clear reason other than to satisfy Foster's grandstanding ego.
I'm a Toronto fan and i have to be honest Nick Nurse and Scottie (sometimes pascal) do to much complaining on a regular basis. I feel like the refs are trying to send them a message. With that being said the refs were terrible that game in the 4th.
I'm so sick of low info people spreading conspiracy theories about every single thing now. The guy smarted off and the referee ejected him. Overaction and unnecessary ejection? Probably. That doesn't mean the referee is betting on games and willing to risk his entire career over it. Get a grip, people. Referees can be bad at their job without being criminals.
Too many players love to play the victim. They talk non-stop, argue, curse, scream, then the moment the ref draws the line and players steps over it they throw a fit saying the ref is ruining the game. It's a shame.

My name is no relation to this Scott dude lol but Why is Scott Foster still reffing? I'm serious. I legit don't understand…how could a ref FAMOUSLY be involved in one of the worst betting scandals in sports history, and still be treated with any credibility whatsoever? Just being in the same sentence of anyone involved with the Donaghy scandal on Wikipedia, not to mention being clowned on Reddit and YouTube constantly for being bent, should warrant getting fired. It boggles the mind….Stephen A Smith has been straining his vocal chords saying how the NBA KNOWS EVERYTHING YOURE UP TO ALWAYS AND WHO YOURE TALKING TO yadda yadda yadda (talking about all the Ja stuff), and yet the NBA turns a blind eye to hard damning evidence of being involved (even 'indirectly', though lets be honest…) with a proven scam?

Watch ref Robert Hussey #85 multiple double takes from the backboard cam angle trying to figure out what Scott Foster is doing during all this supposed comments from Scotty Barnes. If Hussey didn't hear anything, how did Foster? Look at their positions in relation to Barnes.

Things like this should be reviewed by the league and if the ref is blatantly missing calls which help decide games, they should be disciplined/fined and even possibly fired if it is repeated offences like it seems to be with this clown of an official. Talk about tic tac fouls at the end of a game to help decide an otherwise really good game.
Often it’s said players need to check their emotions. More emphasis need to be put on officials checking their emotions.
This game really does look like a Cheeta was in disguise wearing a zebras skin, and was emotionally disturbed by being exposed.
Barnes could also keep his comment to himself. Why put thought to voice about the officiating. Barnes should know better. Hopefully he learned a lesson!

It seems that NBA refs are invincible. They have absolute power over the game and for some of them, it goes to their heads. The way Foster acted was unprofessional. He seems to enjoy the spotlight and the power that he has. Bad look for the NBA. Really bad.
