The Predator @ UF (Dark Souls Of Golf)

I take on The Predator At UF a challenging course on #TGC2019 a course designed for #TGCTours major design Contest. Enjoy!

The true origin of The Predator is as mysterious as the constant fog surrounding the plot. The Predator, originally a nine hole course, had to be shut down in the early 70s due to golfers mysteriously vanishing from the course. Legend has it they got swallowed by the seemingly endless labyrinth of swamp channels and fog. Due to recent events Japan refused to host the Olympics so the the International Olympic Committee, scouting the world to find the one course worthy of hosting an Olympic Golf Event, decided to resurrect the Predator from the dead. Renowned golf course architect ChrizZcE was tasked to rebuild and redesign this legendary course. The back nine is located near the college campus of the University of Florida, while the front nine is almost completely untouched by civilization and provides a more isolated golfing experience.

When the locals heard the Predator was being resurrected, they protested vehemently, saying the land is cursed. However rumor has it the Golf Olympics comittee offered the Mayor a hefty sum of money to give permission to host the event. It turns out the locals may have been right, since the weather forecast says there is a huge hurricane approaching, drastically changing playing conditions each day. Despite all this the International Olympic Committee is determined to host the event, giving the Predator one last breath of life before perishing forever at the hands of the hurricane.

This roughly 7800 yards shotmakers course will require exceptional course management and shotshaping abilities to score.  So swing tight and don´t let the gators bite!
