Can someone clear up the face kick whilst grounded for me …? Is this ok in bellator? Freeze framed it proper slow and his knee was on the canvas. That kick probably did 50% of damage to his jaw …..

"Kneeing and/or Kicking the head of a grounded opponent.
A grounded fighter is defined as: Any part of the body, other than the soles of the feet
(excluding fingers) touching the fighting area of the floor. A fighter will be considered grounded
if the palm or closed fist of one hand, and/or any other body part, is touching the fighting area
floor. At this time, kicks or knees to the head will not be allowed."
Therefore, the kick at 1:56 is illegal.

It was a delayed response from the leg kick watch over and over . He straight away said my leg not my ‘jaw’ . Kept thinking he’s got really skinny legs but if he counters, it was risky for Phil. Because it’s hard kicking a guy leg. When he got long arms but he wasn’t making phil Davis pay for the kicks and first 2 welted on his shin /parniel nerve so mustn’t have been good . He Liam needed more knees and harder punches . Whilst bringing his arms back where they should be to defend takedowns but eaisyer sed than done. Good fight 👊👍
