  1. Great explanation won’t be long before you are in the thousands of subscribers, remember we have a short concentration time ,just my opinion but try and keep it to 5 minutes if you can.Look forward to the next one already.

  2. Looks great – how about cutting a high-fps slow motion of the swing into the video? Modern iPhones / Android phones can do that. Good production & very informational, keep up the good work!

  3. Nice video! The transition is something I am working on. When I hear "sit down" or some say the "squat" it's hard not to think of it as a pause or at least something that doesn't happen very quickly. When in fact, I just figured out how it's actually the time of the swing where the body moves and rotates the fastest.

  4. I'm a hacker. Happy when I break 90 counting all strokes, playing it where it lies etc.

The way you explain this resonates with me. I have always moved my weight onto my left toes and right heel to prevent my upper body from "swaying" backwards in my backturn. But when I come forward that weight just moves more onto my left toes, rather than the ankle the way you share it here. I always feel like my hips are "closed" off and I will even cheat to start them early to avoid this.

Seeing the hips closed when you talk about the weight not being on your heel actually clicked something for me. I'm never going to be on the PGA Tour, but just being able to get the ball in the air rather than everything being a stinger is the way to make golf more fun for me. Thanks for this video and you just gained a subscriber. Hopefully you will teach it the way hackers like me can understand the body movements all the time!

  5. Great video, Chris. The way you explained and demonstrated the down swing transition struck a cord with me. I like the thought/feel of the weight going to the angle specifically, vise just moving pressure the front foot. You seem to be great communicator, which is huge in YouTube golf instruction. I look forward to more videos.

  6. Hi Chris. Several years ago you made a video “better ball striking”. It’s my go to video whenever i am off with my irons.Looking forward to more videos from your new channel.

  7. Hi Chris, just stumbled across your post: I really like the way you have described the transition and the drills to build up a fluid move. Thank you very much – I am happy to be your newest subscriber and look forward to seeing more of your content (plus looking at your back catalogue [sorry for the spelling – it’s an English thing 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿😊])

  8. Like the video
When does the weight pressure happen? I’ve heard it happens in backswing

  9. It wasn't clear to me if I should work on doing the closed hip slide with the weight going to the ball of the foot in transition or the weight should transfer more to the heal and avoid the closed hip slide. Please advise. Thank you.
