He needs to go home, see his family, go to the club see his friends.
Knock back a few invites, give some lessons, grab an invite, go play again.
The wave broke onto the reef, you can paddle back out in a few months and catch another one.
Slow down, you are not acclimatised to this altitude Michael. He realises he should have said "NO thank you" to the invite, but he wants to try and earn for his family. The momentum is still there Michael, just step away, do the smart thing, rest and then come back and try again. We will be waiting if that is what you want. You are no good to anyone in this state, least of all yourself.

Michael admittedly doesn't practice as much as he could or should, but last week's performance at Oak Hill showed how much skill he has.
Makes you really appreciate the amount of game the guys on tour have. They consistently shoot good scores and, for many of them, a 75 is "one of those rounds."

After so many interviews, celebration, emotional rollercoaster, get this guy home, he will find his balance, he will be loved, respected and will remain a true golf legend.
Had a feeling he would probably have a rough first round. Not a knock on his game just the fact hes probably emotionally exhausted after the last week he had. Hope he can get as much rest in as he can next week before the Canadian Open.
