shouldn't be too hard to verify the longest drive i the history of the Tour was at Oak Hills CC San Antonio TX in the eighties 700+ yards down a drainage ditch the pro had to hit a three wood wedge back to the green. Just the facts Man /

I once say a 973 yard drive back in 1982. The most amazing thing I have EVER seen in all of the PGA events I have attended.
