Are you fed up of duffing or thinning chips around the greens?? You are not alone, so many golfers experience this along with a lack of confidence when chipping, this video will help you eliminate those negative thoughts and poor shots.
The fault that could be causing many of those bad shots is very often hidden, which is why it’s so hard to see the problem and make the change.
In this short video I share with you a recent lesson where I was able to help Ryan with his short chip shots by working on this hidden move which gave him instantly better shots around the greens, if it worked for Ryan, it can work for you too.

Well done Chris 👏 😊
Great Explanation!
I've been chipping great really well, I will work on this one tomorrow
Great lesson. Think I might take this fault into the bunker too!
Iv been chipping left hand low like Matt Fitzpatrick it’s revolutionary for my game I have always putted left hand low which probably helps
Wow! I think that you actually just came with the cure for my severe chippingproblems that has been going on for years! The hands have been to fast. Now I have to excersise this. Many thanks!
Having played for a long time, I have seen many, many golfers, including me, get the chipping jips that’s typically caused by not knowing what you’re doing wrong. The number of times I’ve said to myself, “what?” or “how did you do that?” after hitting what was supposed to be an easy chip after a good approach. Simply meaning I didn’t know why, causing more anxiety, causing more failed shots, causing more jips!
Well Chris, you have, yet again, brought light to the dark side of duff shots and I remain grateful. Well done and thank you. You are, without doubt the top coach!
Great tips 👏🏻👏🏻
I tend to think this length of shot is more pitch than chip. The little dinks from just off the green are more problematic imo.
Starting my second season with chipping yipes. This is so helpful. Thanks
Great video Chris, it will certainly go a long way for improving my terrible short game. By the way you need to work on your spelling 😉😀
Thanks Chris great explanation but when I try this I get told I’m flipping the club.
Who’s been plagiarising Dan Grieves then? 🙄
This tip is amazing!
My short game has been poor for years so I tried your method on our training course today with incredible result … everything was different, so much better … but best of all: no shank!
Thank you, Chris.
Great instruction as usual. what's the 1/4 zip you rocking?
Works great, thx🙏🏻
Another fault exposed! So I've been lagging when i shouldn't (chips) and not lagging when i should ( irons)! This one looks a little easier to fix. Thanks!
I'm an 8 or 9 handicap and I have struggled for years with the chipping yips. I have taken numerous lessons and watched a ton of videos with not much luck. This is the 1st video I have seen that absolutely describes what my flaw was. I have only practiced your technique once so far and it made a huge difference. Not as easy to take to the course yet but I am thrilled to finally learn what I am doing wrong. Well done Chris. Great video.
