Contested each May, the PGA Championship is the second major championship in golf’s annual rotation, and perennially features the strongest field in the men’s game based on the Official World Golf Rankings. Known for dramatic finishes and notable champions, the Wanamaker Trophy—which has been awarded to the winner since 1916—is inscribed with names such as McIlroy, Woods, Nicklaus, and Player. The 2023 PGA Championship is set to take place between May 18–21 at Oak Hill Country Club. The reigning champion is Justin Thomas.

No one could feel more like a pro golfer than what Gary Woodland just did out of that bunker. Intentionally put the ball in a better spot in the bunker then hole out, stuff dreams are made of.

Nice to see that Phil Mickelson was able to make his 27th cut at a PGA Championship, the 52-year-old tied the record held by Jack Nicklaus and Raymond Floyd. And did it without one single clip worthy shot. Well done Lefty!

Been promoting for years. Megaphone off the tee by officials to notify spectators of stray fore balls hit. Stupid ass bibs worn by caddies. Issue same color polos for caddies with authorized ads to be placed on polos by caddies. sprinkler head covers that allow a reasonable bounce used around greens. Officials marking balls off of the fairway with a flag that you can barely see. Make them at least 2 feet tall. Sand goggles for the pros. Slow play. Have a timer with each group inforcing play. Must penalize. Simplify the rules. ETC. ETC. ETC. No wonder golfers went to LIV. Monohan and the PGA are just dumb asses.

Please never give ESPN another golf tournament . To busy with stories not golf and making everyone join ESPN+ to see extra play. They’re using it to get more subscribers. What a second rate channel. Never never give it to them again.
I just watch a golf commercial. As I like the game of golf bc of the challenge, and I've never played a round of golf in my life, the commercial left me thinking. This commercial seems to me that somehow the pursuit of perfection on a course is somehow a better group of people than the normal everyday working man! I was a bartender at a golf course in Savanah GA in the early
80's and I never seen so many spoiled brats and absolutely arrogant people's attitude towards the hired help that make their day enjoyable and clean. There was one guy that was left handed like myself that offered to give me a set of clubs and teach me how to play. I thanked him for his offer but declined bc i was leaving as soon as possible bc of what i observed. Ive never be a member of any golf course and won't be upset that they don't want me to be a member. Humility is more important than how much money you are able to earn. I now own a good parcel of land and my profession is a truck driver. I deliver the goods that the people on that golf course take for granted. If their idea of success is to snub their noses to the little people then I'll stay a working man!

So the PGA boobirds are out at the PGA today, in a disgusting display of rude and detestable behaviour, common in the United States where partisanship has been normaized and Americans can no longer respect differences and choices. The fans and the PGA should be ashamed of themselves.

What a day at the PGA today, it was a soaker! I can't believe how many people slipped and fell on the grass, including myself lol. Tomorrow is going to be a beautiful sunny day for the finale, I'm looking forward to it.
