Nobody understands that hes been winning tournaments and been playing PGA Tour events for 15 years. SERIOUS talent that belongs out there. Hes not new to the scene whatsoever.

At 40+ yo, what a wonderful tale! We all know of fairytale stories, of breakthroughs. But, they usually happen at the start of a golfers career. Justin Rose, as an amateur, at the Open, comes to mind. Or, Seve, again, at the Open, as he visited parts of the course, that most professionals have never seen, but won! This tale is different and I rally hope he shows continued consistancy!

For all he is a extrem sympathic man with a lot of talent in his short game. I like him! He is humble and full of respect to all the others. This man deserves a huge paycheck! And then he should kid's give lessons in life and golf for low money that they can life her dreams…
I don’t know what coverage of the PGA Championship you’ve been watching, the one I’ve seen has been all over this story, too 10 after two rounds, after 3 still even par and being told he’s playing partner is Rory for the last round, he can’t believe it, great story, definitely being talked about, a lot!
This is a great story. Michael Block is playing so well. This is why the PGA should stay with tradition and why they should should have cuts every week!!

I watched the tourney all weekend on multiple feeds. He was being talked about on all of them throughout the day. He’ll be talked about more certainly after the hole in one, but he wasn’t a secret this week. He’s also a very good golfer and has been a champion among club pros for quite a long time. Great guy.
He finished 15th, including a hole in one on the last day – fantastic.

I guess it depends on how you define "nobody". ESPN, the Golf Channel, Sky Sports to name only three "nobodies", have been all over this story since round 1. Now he has the ace and the up and down at 18 to put cherries on the top of the cake. Oh, and his in character sportsmanship in quieting the crowd around 18 to let Rory hole out.
