  1. Good lord he isnt a PGA Star…no one will remember him in a few months…They put such a spot light on Block because they didnt want Brooks to have that spotlight….Its so dumb how we have to make a story line out of a PGA GOLF PRO that played golf well for 4 days….his job is GOLF…he is only 45

  2. Scottie is a great guy and a phenomenal golfer. Not everyone needs to be a traveling circus act of a personality. Most of the best people I’ve met in life come across as bland but that’s because consistency, honesty, and decency are not flamboyant traits but certainly necessary ones.

  3. The problem in how people try to see anybody as being “the guy” now is that they measure that against what Tiger did in being the guy. It’s true that there’s an absurd amount of young talent out there that makes it difficult to win consistently but that isn’t the full story. The truth is you just can’t measure people against Tiger because what he did was just next level dominance that we probably never see again. Before the knee injury in 2008 Tiger was winning around a third of every major he played in. Even now with the injury riddled years and playing more majors outside of his best golf which has lowered that percentage a lot he still has the highest win percentage of major starts with multiple percentage points above second place. Tigers peak was simply so dominant it can’t be your comparison because for those years up to really the scandal he just dominated in a way nobody ever has or likely ever will again. Without the scandal and injuries taking his peak from him he would’ve shattered every possible record there was. So if we want to look to who the next guy is we have to judge that accordingly because we aren’t going to get somebody who does what Tiger did. I think fans took that for granted at a certain point and stopped recognizing just how absurd what he was doing was as it became just what was normal for him. Maybe these years that follow and not seeing somebody doing that will bring fans back to earth to see what he did as it was, being one of a kind dominance of the game.

  4. This is nothing!!!
    I had a par 250 and potted a hole in 1!!!!!
    I WAS ALONE
    SWEAR TO THE ALMIGHTY

  5. My boys and I have been getting our asses kicked for 15+ years by Mike Block in Mini-events and he doesnt deserve anything less than what this week and the future have brought to him. Hes not a Golf Professional, he is a Professional Golfer and BELONGS out there. Couldnt happen to a greater person.

  6. I teared up watching Block's interview. I put on the tournament due to conners being in first, i live 40 minutrs from Listowel, first canadian major leading on Saturday since Mike Weir masters win. And the Micheal Block story is what kept me watching on sunday. Great story then hits an ace, couldnt write that better.

  7. Being a regular at his course even I had an emotional weekend. What a wild ride

  8. Michael Block played out of his mind for 1 week, Feherty alluded to it a bit that its hard to play at that level every week. Unfortunately he probably crashes back to reality at the normal pga tour events. Also problem with him doing this full time is most courses require pros to hit it 290-325 consistently and thats CARRY distance. Block would be one of the shorter if not the shortest hitter on tour averaging 260-270 carry off the tee. Cant compete every week when your giving up 30-45 yards every shot so the courses will get to him. He could however build off this and parlay it into the Senior tour in 4-5 years if he kept his game up thats very possible.

  9. I think Brooks thought his best days were behind him and so he cashed in with LIV. Bet he regrets his move.
