Winderbourne: Mansion in the woods—Tragic

On this video we are venturing into an 1880’s mansion. Built in 1884 by Enoch and Mary Totten for a home away from home. The mansion had its name from an invention of the bobbing winder (Hence the name Winderbourne) that Mary’s cousin had previously invented. Enoch was a successful lawyer and a Civil War veteran. The tragic events start it with all three of the Totten’s children becoming ill with fevers from drinking contaminated water. One of the children died. Edith Totten, One of the surviving children adopted a girl that slid down the banister railing and had also died in the mansion. Edith died shortly thereafter. With many things left behind makes you wonder why the owner(s) up and left never to return. The tale of this mansion makes you wonder if it will ever be mended from its tragic past.
