Jon Rahm is one of the most talented golfers of his generation. Born in Spain in 1994, Rahm began playing golf at a young age and quickly showed promise as a player. He attended Arizona State University on a golf scholarship, where he was a standout player and won several individual titles.

After turning pro in 2016, Rahm quickly made a name for himself on the PGA Tour. He won his first professional event at the Farmers Insurance Open in 2017, just a few months after turning pro. Since then, he has won several more events on the PGA Tour, including the 2020 Memorial Tournament and the 2021 U.S. Open.

But Rahm’s journey to the Master has been a long and challenging one. He made his Master debut in 2017 but missed the cut in his first appearance. He returned to Augusta National in 2018 and finished in fourth place, his best finish at the tournament to date.

In 2019, Rahm was once again in contention at the Masters. He entered the final round just two shots behind the leaders, but struggled on the back nine and ultimately finished in ninth place.

Despite these setbacks, Rahm remained focused on his goal of winning the Master. He continued to work on his game and improve his skills, and his hard work paid off in 2021.

At the 2021 Masters, Rahm played some of the best golf of his career. He shot a 69 in the first round and followed it up with a 72 in the second round. He then shot a 68 in the third round to move into a tie for second place heading into the final round.

In the final round, Rahm played with confidence and poise. He made several clutch putts and birdies down the stretch, and ultimately finished in second place, just one stroke behind the winner, Hideki Matsuyama.

Although Rahm fell just short of his ultimate goal of winning the Master, his performance in 2021 showed that he has what it takes to compete at the highest level. With his talent, work ethic, and determination, it seems only a matter of time before Rahm claims the coveted green jacket at Augusta National.
